The "weird" fenders just seem wider to me? If so I was already thinking about more fender options. The moving things are also something I considered, but moving mesh is not as easy as it sounds. It can be archived with props but props don't have collision. Also a more complex Herbie behavior code needed. So, properly not anytime soon. The splitting goes in the same direction. Thanks for pointing out the issues in the configs. That helps a lot. Its quit difficult to maintain all details for each movie.
I have saw this too. It is really anoying --- Post updated --- About the props, it would be nice if it was an option to use the moving props that dont have collision.
About the props, it would be nice if it was an option to use the moving props that Im gonna say AW Buggie or AW Bubble
Well actually it was the Type 57, I believe all of the VW Beetles are considered the Type 1, but the early split windows, war-issued, and "pre" production beetles were called the type 57. Sorry to nerd out on ya lol, just thought I'd add to what you were saying. AW 1 would still be cool though.
I might be wrong but i think the weird fenders are just bad cgi, i remembered seeing them change from the real and the fake ones
I also have some name ideas: sticking to the "Käfer" (insect theme), maybe these names might fit: -AW Biene -AW Hummel -AW Assel -AW Kröte -AW Frosch -AW Wanze
Hi MrX I played the old version of the mod from a while back and the engine power felt more realistic. I feel the 1600 is a bit too powerful in lower end torque? This could just be me though anyway the mod is getting very close to real life, keep up the great work.
I think a inaccurate speedometer option would be nice? Since vw beetle speedometers, are not that accurate and old
That would be great and even better if the inaccuracy changes as the wheels get Larger/Smaller. Just a suggestion would be cool to see.
lol for sure, my 62 has smaller tires in the front to accommodate for rubbing, and my speedo is 6 mph fast lol.
