Fortunately, my home is near 3 power things so if 1 goes out we may get a dimming of the lights for less than a second, and then full power.
Lucky. We live in a small development where if the main road loses power, we do as well. Luckily, none of our power lines can break, as they are all underground. However, the main road has aboveground lines
Oh, Grand Rapids/ Kalamazoo area? It was pretty nice there when we went on vacation (except for the pocket knife in the futon bed at the Red Roof Inn in Kalamazoo)
The hopper interior desperately needs a PBR refresh. It's the only reason I don't use the hopper much.
It's bad because there was someone else's knife under your bed. If that doesn't give creepy vibes I dunno what does.
So, some more speculation with the T-Series remaster part 3... I'm wondering (read: hoping) we'll see a heavy duty equipment manufacturer for some of the HD T-Series configs like we have Kentarch for the smaller Gavril trucks. I just bought a Brandt Western Star that's had basically everything mechanical stripped off and replaced with HD parts (I'm still in the honeymoon phase with this truck lol), it would be really cool to see an in-universe equivelant for heavy trucks.
Have you been to southern Minnesota or South Dakota in winter? I'd assume not, because most people leave. This year was a really mild summer, but usually, highway closings from snow drifting, driving at 30 MPH on the interstate because visibility is at zero and the snow is going sideways, and being stuck in your house because the highway won't be plowed until the plows finish the town, et cetera, et cetera, is normal. South Dakota has railroad crossing-like gates on all the highway exits because highway closures are so routine! Wow, I think I'm venting now.
