Re: General discussion chat Only Obama could get gas to $2.50, end 2 wars, get bin Laden, bring unemployment below 8%, then be told he's failing as president.
Re: General discussion chat Thank you. I live in Georgia so everyone hates him pretty much because Republicans.
Re: General discussion chat http://www.govdeals.com/index.cfm?fa=Main.Item&itemid=1020&acctid=831 These cars come cheap from the auctions. Of course that one needs a paint job, but whatever. I'm starting to look more seriously at these auctions, seeing as it's going to be yet another 5 weeks, at the minimum, for the crown vic title to come back in. I'm starting to think that title won't be here until February. That car isn't worth waiting all that time for. You can pick a new one up with lower miles for cheap at these auctions.
Re: General discussion chat dang. i got this overclock. i need to go higher, just dont have a aftermarket cooler(yes im using the stock cooler)
Re: General discussion chat This depends entirely upon what you mean. If it a usb cable transmitting midi data then no, you can just plug that right into the PC and be fine. If its an actual midi cable then you can get a midi to usb adapter from the internet If its a midi instrument and you want the audio out of it then you will need to use something like a 1/4" jack lead as well as an audio interface. Unless the instrument has an analogue to digital converter built in in which case you just need a usb lead.
Re: General discussion chat I was losing hope in finding a way to manipulate objects across a plain in Blender, but I just found out how to do it. This is going to make modeling some objects so much faster, and easier too.
Re: General discussion chat And if you're just messing about with an instrument emulator that wants a MIDI connection and only have your computer keyboard to play on, try using loopMIDI with VMPK.
Re: General discussion chat My barely one year old, mildly used, 500gb PS3 super slim just stopped working for no reason. Turns on but light turns off right after and nothing happens. According to google it could be a bunch of different stuff such as PSU, GPU or something. My PC will be getting a 500gb hard drive in it at this rate...
Re: General discussion chat I never ever thought that i would be able to fill all of the PCIe slots on the back of my PC case. Thanks to the need for firewire that day has now came (provided that the firewire card in our old pc is compatible with my motherboard)
Re: General discussion chat HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA the 5400RPM 300GB drive in my siblings laptop is slower than our internet it refuses to let anything go past about 3MB/s (on direct connection just to make sure it's not a wifi problem) i have a 6MB/s download speed (i've seen it get to 7MB/s on my other pc which is connected directly though) they also use up the space a lot i do believe it's time for an HDD upgrade
Re: General discussion chat I've gotten to 4.4 on the stock cooler, but i wouldn't recommend it. It starts running insanely hot then.
Re: General discussion chat Tried a file copy on drive itself? I highly doubt the hard drive only writes at 3mb/sec when I achieved higher on a 3200rpm IDE drive.
Re: General discussion chat Well, I mean like... They are built better than your standard run of the mill Chevy. But, yea, they are a Chevy, unfortunately. Please stop trying to kill me. This math kid must be destroyed.
Re: General discussion chat ran sequential testing on crystaldiskmark: in that case i have no idea why the hdd just plain out refuses to download any faster than 3MB/s (well, on steam anyway, didn't test anywhere else, it'll constantly "Busy: writing to disk" at faster speeds on steam, so i assumed the hdd just couldn't deal with the faster speeds) anyway, i also ran beamng (hence the steam download) to see what kind of performance it's measly AMD e-300 and radeon hd 6310 got: Pigeon: 14 fps (cpu limited, actually, VERY cpu limited)
