    Hi all,

Need a new GPU, and looking to play Beam VR at 90Hz. Which ~$600 card is most recommended for Beam VR?

    Thank you,

if you have to work with CUDA cores or technologies,NVIDIA,
if you have no CUDA requirement and want's to save money(at where I live, this is happening),AMD for sure
kinda hard to say which to pick,DLSS or FSR

VR which is what he asked for? No. Even a 4080 runs out of VRAM when using higher end headsets. Everything else - pretty much a draw.

Strange, VR isn't very optimized in this game but you should be getting higher fps imo. Is the GPU maxed out at 100% usage?

    update:
no, because my minimum FPS is dropping below 72 which makes it lock at half that (36). it hovers around 60-70%

Isn’t beamng poorly optimized for AMD?

    It's pretty good on Vulkan

But vulkan is unstable. We shouldn’t recommend vulkan as a solution currently. It is about as stable as 2015 BeamNG

Why would you actually use vulkan while it's very unstable.
For me it crashed when i tried to load a map.
If for you Vulkan is stable, then congrats, you are lucky.

Did you read my post? VR does NOT work without the use of Vulkan.

Yes, i read it, and my point is that it can crash on you while you are playing VR.
Should have said it on the post earlier.

Im not having issues with crashing. the entire point of this thread is VR. no need to continue "contributing" to this thread. thanks.
