I wonder if some of the devs are just at an event right now, there hasn’t been much dev presence, here I think the update will be delayed some more
My attempt at fixing this thread’s off-topic problem: https://www.beamng.com/threads/update-speculation-off-topic-redirect-thread.96877/
looking a bit at their linkedin, they do go to events often, i also saw some offroad collab/event not long ago (cant find it, not gambler 500). But that doesnt impact updates, and it usually isnt free time off, they still have to work. (while back dev also said that, this thread or it was in discord)
Yes, and that was just BeamNG being used as a sim, it shouldn't translate to any new official content
Me too, but I still want the Hopper remastered/expanded. Not to offroad with, it's just so squarish and fun to squish, and I'd love it's model and jbeam to get updated to modern standards.
We already have a crap ton of Ibishus and 3 Hirochis, and most mods are JDM. JDM is so overrated and over represented. We do not need more JDM. We need something under represented like prewar
The T-Series is the only vehicle to have the new physical mirrors, so we can assume that more, if not the rest of the vehicles, will also get them in the next update. I also think that we are going to get adjustable mirrors for all the vehicles because a lot of the mirrors right now are not properly adjusted. Also, the newer vehicles like the Lansdale, Aurata, and revamped T-Series already have foldable mirrors that you can adjust with the node grabber, which makes it further evident that we might get adjustable mirrors. I would like them to implement a way to adjust the mirrors from the inside for newer vehicles with buttons on the inside, and for older cars, you will have to adjust them manually. If they do update the mirrors, it would make sense for them to add the text that says, "Objects in mirror are closer than they appear." I also hope they add a blind spot monitor for the modern cars if they update the mirrors. The CCF already has them, and it would be a really cool feature to have it officially.
