    This is the same for all BeamNG vehicles, just throw a Grand Marshal off of the port in WCUSA :p

    The front glass isn't seen though, and the grand marshal had it's "remaster" a long time ago.

    Hi, I can't seem to get the engines to start even after pressing and holding v for an extended period of time. Everything else on the aircraft seems to work fine when i just spawn it in the air and the props spin but don't start. I've also deactivated all other mods and restarted. I can try a cache clear if no better options are available. Thank you!

    If you press v, what is the ignition state on the left top corner of the screen. Switch it to on by short presses on the v key, release the key and press V for a few seconds. Can´t replicate your problem on my end

    Whenever are you happy with the B25, will you make another plane? But not something very big, like a Cessna Caravan

    I think I have the same problem too. I even have a recording of the bug (the rpms remain fixed at 739 and never stabilize at 750 as agreed even with 10 seconds of pressing the v key)



    On the other hand, if the plane is not on the ground but directly launched from the air, the engine manages to start.

    Will look into it. Did not see this before and can’t replicate it. After few reviews I will set up the plane to run after spawning it. Seems like some are confused by it.

    This new update is great. One thing I would love to see is working steam gauges in the cockpit.

    Hi I figured it out after a bit of tinkering. I reset my key binds and got the engines to start by bringing the ignition to on, then holding the v key for a few seconds, releasing, and then pressing down again to start the engines. Thank you!

    Hello Joelvb,
    Why does my plane overheats, "cylinders walls" are melting, and aircraft just dissasembles/blows up?
    Is this intentional?
    I made a video of this happening, i'll be thankfull if you'd watch it :D

    Maybe not the disassembled part of the video but as I stated in the overview page, if you run at 100% power you will over stress the engines and lock them up. The aerodynamic stress of the locked up engine ripped the wing off, I never saw it though

    I've never heard about wing ripping off because of engine failure.
    Maybe it's something to tweak... if you can, and want to do that of course...

    @Joelvb I'm wondering if it possible to implement independent engine ignition? would be cool to simulate an engine failure while flying

    The engines themselves are simulated by them self. So the ignition and starter sets are independent. When I am finished 3d modeling the cockpit, I want to simulate some background systems like hydraulics, electrical and fuel. In this case I will also implement switches to ignition and fathering the propeller. So that you could handle an engine out like in the real world. It is just a lot of work and lua can sometimes be a bitch to work with.
    Currently I try to let the engines start up again after spawning, it works but only when in slow motion, the inertia of the propellers are just too big and the normal game systems are probably not designed for this.

    Yeah that is something I will look into, it was just a combination of a lot of things. If you look at the video, the high speeds created huge drag forces yawing the plane and pitching the plane too, all that combined just broke the Connection to the fuselage. In the rework the center wing structure with the nacelles will be one part. It will improve the realism and improve overall performance.

    Maybe try to add code from the previous versions where it spawned with engines on?
    Not sure though.
