Post bugs and issues with the Vela here. Please make sure that your bug isn’t just from the CCF and actually comes from this mod.
This happens on the CCF- it’s just because of how unreliable the official BeamNG prop deformGroups are as far as I know. I don’t know of any way to fix it.
Very high-quality mod, I like it a lot! One small bug that I have noticed is that the automatic emergency braking doesn't come back on after the car has been put into one of the drive modes where the emergency braking is disabled and then switched back to comfort again. It works fine when just spawning it when it's in comfort mode. I don't have the same problem with the CCF.
When stopped, the MPG average is infinite.# Also to that review that said "Reverse cams are not possible in beamng." The fisson thunderbolt vertex, fastlanes scirroco have working reverse cams.
Those cameras are just mirrors. If you have ever been in the passenger seat while reversing the Vertex you would know
this is a completely stock car --- Post updated --- the "standard window trim" does not exist and throws a yellow mesh error in the console
Sometimes the transmission stays in reverse after shifting to drive, and won't go into the correct gear until first is selected in manual mode. It usually happens when you put it in park after reversing some distance. I've verified that this only occurs with the vela 7 speed.
2 issues i found so far: 1. the car shakes a lot when around 1000 RPM, most noticable when you look at the trunk, or simply in driver cam 2. sometimes, the car gets stuck in reverse, which is... an interesting "feature"
On both the CCF2 (M and DCT) and the Vela (DCT), in arcade shifting mode, after automatic braking occurs, the car will shift itself into reverse. The DCT will properly drive in reverse until you press the gas again, while the manual goes into reverse, but seems to hold the clutch so as to not drive in reverse. It's not that big of a deal, and the fact you managed to get automatic braking at all is absolutely incredible
I Never thought I'd be drooling over a fictional car in a video game, but here we are. The attention to detail is above dev quality, and this probably one the best mods ever made for the game. Absolutely wack how incredible this is.
On the RF version (both Vela and CCF2) if the doors are getting open, the thin middle part of the roof falls a bit down and gets flimsy. If you open the roof that way (with opened doors) that slim part moves weirdly through the rollbars. Looks like the doors are somehow supporting this piece of the roof. (Tested with original configurations.)
