Weird "Ghost" Mod Issue

After a few updates, I've got some mods slots in the game that only have empty windows, no preview available. When I try and select the mod, it goes back to gameplay and my current vehicle is flying through the air like an overweight superhero.
I've looked through all of my folders for BNG, and can't find the files for these missing mods anywhere. I just want to get rid of these "ghost" mods, these mt windows in my mods menu.
Has anyone else had this problem? If so, is there a quick fix, or do I have to reinstall? thanks

 

You have to delete the configurations. Those are the (nonexistent) previews for custom configurations of mods you've deleted.

 

Where would I find those files, @bussin.buses ?

 

If you spawn it in, then pause the game and go to the 'Configurations' menu, I think you can delete the configurations. Otherwise, navigate to .

 

weird, I've already went through everything in game I can think of, and went through all of my folders relating to BeamNG, including my user folder and I can't find any of the missing vehicle zip files, custom configs or anything

 

If you haven't already, clear your cache, otherwise, I don't know.

 

Ok, tried clearing my cache, still have the ghost mods. I have no idea where the file data for them is coming from. I'm just gonna back up a couple things, and do a clean install. Thanks for trying to help me out on this issue.

 

This happens if you create a custom file with a mod car rather than a regular car and then delete or disable that mod. Please reinstall the mod.
