    It's funny that australia is portrayed to be so badass on the internet, but when it comes down to it, you guys aren't even allowed to own toy guns.

    Does that mean all Americans are fucked in the head just because your government is?

    Our government isn't fucked in the head. We're just staying more free than everyone else. A little behind on the restrictive, corrupt track. We are on the restrictive, corrupt track, however. When this place gets as bad as Australia I'm moving to a remote island in the pacific.
    And I meant nothing by it, was just pointing it out.
    Australia is one of the most fine and outlaw happy places in the world. idk how it got known to be badass.

    I swear some people wouldnt have a clue what freedom is if it fucking bitch slapped them in the face. Because invading countries for oil is not freedom, its oppression. Fucking hell, Nixon invaded a British commonwealth country, 4 times in last 2 decades Britain have been dragged into american conflicts which have served to do nothing but arm ISIS. Hell, I love how it was that as britain handed its last territory in Iraq over to american forces that things spiralled out of control. Freedom.

    The right to bear arms to form an organised militia. I love how people often cut off the latter half of the 2nd amendment. Bad that a brit knows it better than a yank. I'm all for firearms ownership, don't see how that is freedom (its possible to own firearms in Britain and Australia).

    Firearms != freedom
    Fucked up healthcare != freedom
    Invading others != freedom (by the way, you missed your first chance to kill bin laden, twice, long before 9/11).
    Gas guzzling v8s kicking out stupid amounts of emissions for no reason != freedom.

    You people are no more free than anyone else. Just oppressive. Now if you excuse me I am going to cross the road at a non designated crossing point and not be chastised by the police for it because fucking freedom.

    Hey guys, im making a thing.
    So originally a few month ago i started making this in duality. Then i decided since it was my first thing in a language that i hadn't used before i decided to switch to unity because it has more/better documentation. Couple months passed and i have picked it up again and re wrote the controls and added a weapon. Please note this is really early and is just movement and a few (unfinished) art assets. There is no gameplay. All art assets are self made in PSE9, Unity used to make the thing, some code originates from many parts of the internet. I would be surprised if i actually ever finish this thing but im gonna give it a go. See if it leads to anything interesting.

    Installation
    Unzip into a folder
    Controls:
    wasd = Movement
    mouse = point in direction
    LMB = shoot
    space = stop

    alt+f4 = exit
    Space screenshot.png space2.png

    Well potato i differ from you there, our government is fucked in the head at the moment. And australia is known as a bunch of badasses because everything in australia is trying to kill people, and yet they survive even without guns. And I dont want to be a part of this "america vs everybody else" flamewar. If i wanted to do that, i could just go to the youtube comments section. I will say this though, i like britain and australia and all those other places, but theres no place i'd rather live than right here in the usa. My country may be fucked up in many ways, but i love it here. And for the non-americans on this forum, dont get pissed off at all americans because of our stupid government and a select few idiotic citizens. We arent all bad. We arent all idiotic fucktards who want to start war with everybody else. Thats like hating all german people because of hitler. And dont get me wrong, im *not* saying that america is the best country in the world. Im just saying i love it, even despite its many flaws.

    We live in a very unrestricted state.
    There just aren't as many restrictions on shit over here.
    Fuck, when a country starts putting restrictions on bumpers, I'm done.
    When the government restricts its people in the name of "public safety", it just gets me going.
    Why?
    WHY?
    Why is our world becoming so damn bubble wrapped?
    And to see it happening over here REALLY gets me going.
    I don't want a government looking out for me, god dammit. I can do it myself.
    Also, if Australia is that badass, I'd love to see what you guys would do with less rules.

    Ah, yes, the outback.
    I'd imagine it's somewhat like North Dakota is here.
