mod is honestly super fun. one of my favorite vehicles to drive now lol. 4 cylinder is very fun to slide around. liveries are awesome. can't wait to see what is added in future updates. SVO model would be very fun, hoping to see that. every issue i had seems to have been addressed already, so i won't repeat them. didn't notice anything that ruined the entire mod for me anyways... attached a pic of a "tuned" 4 cylinder config i made, drifting. again, it's very fun to drive! nice job!
the V8 itself is just way too quiet, as well as the I6 exhaust, though not as bad. I tried to put the vanilla V8_cross sounds on the engine and I could barely hear it, no matter what value I put the volume at
Any chance you can add models with the actual grill from 84? The grills are different from 84 to 85, I actually own a 84 GT conv. Making my own car in this game would make me buss.
It's probably too late to change this, but I think it should use the Moonhawk engines. Soliad is owned by Bruckell, so it would make way more sense than the Barstow/Bluebuck engines.
Bit late to the thread but if any reference pictures of an actual 1984 car are needed I have one. Blown up at the moment sadly.
So I tried the mod. It's nice! But there's a few "issues", so here's a bug report, as you said feedback is appreciated and I like this mod (sorry if they've been already reported) - Digital dash still has "Wendover Information System" on it (very small text tho) - I know this has been reported 69 times or so, but pre-facelift right taillight signal has wrongly mapped left taillight signal material. This is only an issue with the taillight mesh, as the signal glass is mapped correctly (unless it's the other way around, but judging by the visuals I doubt it) - The tuner's lights are useless. They don't emit anything and I cant see crap (no midnight teku drifting D - Not really a bug, but could you consider adding more sponsors to the Teku paint? It's kinda empty without Clone and the stuff in Japanese. Example of the lights thing (also applies to the Race config and propably others that use those lights) (I had highbeams) And I know what you're thinking, "Race cars don't need headlights, because the track is always lit". Well so is my brother but he still needs headlights. i swear if you dont get this reference...
mistake fixed for next update --- Post updated --- note that the v8_2 sounds act rather funky with the audio tuning for some reason to mitigate this the engine sounds are just directly overwritten by the exhaust.
yea atleast in early models i think the v8/i6 should be robbed off the moonhawk (as obvi bruckell/soliad are related with the wendover and such) and the replaced with soliads better powerplant in later models
