I like that, nice and orange. It would be better to actually drive on it though :D. 5km of roads sounds like a lot, actually. These maps your making, how big are they on average? is that autumn map small or large? I haven't been able to tell from the streams how vast they are.

Just a couple of criticisms though, there's a bug with the foliage on the right hand side behind the rocks. and on the left some of the foliage is fairly conspicuously textured on a flat plane. Something you'd probably only notice if you stayed still, mind you. Anyway, I do like the way that one looks :p

Looks great, very realistic texturing and vegetation (minus the small bugs mentioned) it really looks like the type of road that will rip you're bumper off at the slightest chance. :p

What is the vegetation bug behind the rocks?

Alrighty, here's a map. Trees, rocks, etc aren't visible from this altitude so it looks much more empty than it really is.

Well, that's some very very interesting new posts there.
Love the new pics & the top-down view.

One question about that small island to the right though,
You (LJFHutch) said that you can drive across the sand to that island.
Will there be a light amount of water on the sand?
Or will be it be just some off-shore land, connected to the main-land by sand (which divides the sea at that point) ?

Yeah it's part of the main island, the sandy part is just a few feet above sea level and then it rises up again and there is a little rocky hill.

"Set in autumn for maximum orange"
*sniff* That's one of the best things any of the devs have said in a while. Also, isn't the usually bolide orange? It's grey in the picture. This means two things.
    1) Skinning
    2) It's not maximum orange dang it!

The way the materials are set up you can choose colours for the vehicles. The Bolide can't be orange in an orange environment; that would be far too low profile :D

But ... but ... what if we like low profile, stealthy, Bond-ninja-type vehicles hidden in the pictures?? ;)

Night driving. Making good use of ABS driving over crappy pavement. Yes, we've added gauge cluster lights, including arrows for the indicators, a low tire pressure light, and a check engine light.

Pardon the overly bright sky, we're working on having it actually darken properly at night.

Wow! that amazing, 1 question, how you made all the indicators itself, it's models or some magic with textures?
