    Re: General discussion chat

Some bitch got pissed at me because I picked up a bunch of keys on a ring in the parking lot of a closed gas station that were apparently hers.
Picked em' up and assumed someone lost them.
Looked at the car key on it and it didn't have an emblem printed on it. There was a celica parked on the other side of the parking lot. I would have been able to deduce what car they belonged to if they didn't just say "32b" on the back.
Looked at my friend and was just trying to figure out what to do with them.
Look behind me and theres some bitch standing up on a hill helping some dude chip wood telling me, very sternly, to "PUT. THEM. DOWN."
I was just kinda taken back by how much of a cunt this woman must be, then I got my head back on straight, and nicely asked if they were hers.
    Got the same reply
    "PUT THEM DOWN. NOW."
    "Are they yours?"
    "PUT EM' DOWN."
    "ARE THEY YOURS"
"YES. PUT THEM DOWN RIGHT NOW."
*I drop the keys on the ground and throw my hands up in the air mockingly*
Why would she drop her whole set of keys in the parking lot of a closed gas station and get all pissed when someone picks them up and assumes they're lost?
If I was gonna steal them, some fat bitch standing 100 feet away from me on the other side of a retaining wall isn't gonna stop me.
I also almost got run over because the brakes on my bike are so shit.

Dude, after she said they were hers, I would've thrown them in the woods and calmly walked away. Some bitch like that doesn't deserve to have her keys back.
Here's how that would've went down:
    "PUT THEM DOWN. NOW."
    "Are they yours?"
    "PUT EM' DOWN."
    "ARE THEY YOURS"
"YES. PUT THEM DOWN RIGHT NOW."
*Throws keys into woods, flips fat bitch off.
Maybe I need anger management... Or a drink. One of the two.

I would have, but she had a pretty mean looking guy with her.
    And I'm like 5,4.
I bet she could have beat me up.

Don't tell anyone else this, but that's why I carry a knife on me at all times. The thing has saved my ass numerous times.

Y'know, now I look like some crazy homicidal maniac having said that. I'm a genius.

    I do the same thing.
I had a knife with me then, and it's still in my pocket now.
I've never actually used it other than threatening some of my uptight friends that actually take shit that I do seriously.
I've opened more packages of skittles than I have anything else with it.
But it still doesn't change the fact that I'm a little bitch.
I wasn't really in the mood to stab anyone either. :\

Its a shame that people think all teens are out to steal things and generally be nuisances.

A while ago for my music tech lesson we were told to go around school with a metal bar and hit things to record the sound they made for a musical piece. But because i use a metal set of IEM's for monitoring (Yamaha EPH-100) i had to keep my hood up to keep them somewhat warm to prevent condensation building up inside them. So me and the other guy in the class went out and saw a lorry and decided it would make for a good recording. We got quite the look from the driver as he slowly drove past, gotta say it was Hilarius. We were both stood at the edge of the road i was in a hoody with the hood up holding a handheld recorder in a tripod and the other guy was stood in a leather jacket wielding a chrome metal pole from the drum set. I imagine my reaction would have been the same as the drivers :p

It would be illegal for me to carry a knife in the UK. But i don't ever feel threatened either, crime is very low in my area and i have never known of anyone to carry any form of weapon. People tend to be quite polite too. There is no need to carry one. (famous last words)

    Yeah.
    It's really annoying.
I also got a weird look from a couple in a BMW when I cut off onto a trail through the woods from a backroad on my bike.
It's also annoying when me and a bunch of friends are doing something out in the road, people feel the need to drive 2mph when we all clearly see them and have paused whatever we were doing for them to pass.
I can understand slowing down a little, but people that get in the way by thinking that kids, no matter the age, are gonna take every opportunity possible to run out in front of a car and kill themselves just irritate me.
It's smart to slow down substantially for smaller children, but a bunch of teenagers aren't gonna run out in front of a car.
We're all just standing there wondering how long it will take this bitch to pass us and we can resume the previous activity.

Can have a 3 inch one. I have a 1.5" blade, but like potato says, its used for opening things, it would be useless in a confrontation.

Problem thats hit the area around uni. Muggers/pickpockets either asking if you have a light or have the time. Always answer no and move on regardless of whether or not you do have the time or a lighter/match on you. Also been advised to conceal watches. Whats been happening is a potential mugger asking for the time, then while the person is distracted checking the their watch or phone the mugger strikes as your guard is let down. Quite a few students have been hit by it.

Time to buy a cheap second hand device and put a gps tracking chip in it that sits in the battery compartment (with the battery removed, could sell it as a spare i guess) running from a button cell battery shoved in there and have some fun.

My knife that I carry around most of the time has a 3 inch blade on it.
It could be useful in a confrontation, especially if you use it like a shank and hit them again and again really quick.
But I'm so small I'm sure anyone that's a threat could overpower me before I could get a good hit in. I'm sure they wouldn't expect someone like me to be carrying a knife, though, so I guess that could help me out.
Some woman walking her dog on the sidewalk said "pumpkin put a helmet on" when I rode by her. I think that's what she said. It was hard to hear her.
I hate helmets. The only time I ever fall off of a bike is when I'm doing something stupid, and even then I don't wear helmets. I'm pretty good about falling in such a way to protect my head though.
I haven't had an actual bike crash on concrete when I'm just riding around in years. It never happens.
Hell, I don't even have a helmet that fits.
That being said, I really should get around to finding a way to make my back brake work. The only thing I have right now is my beyond shitty front brake.
It's kinda funny that it's a disk, but is, by far, the worst front brake I've ever used on a bike. It almost got me killed a few times today.

It has to be a folding blade though (Flick blade, Butterfly blade and disguised knifes are illegal though) and it is illegal to use it in any threatening way (which is a liability since anyone could claim that i was being threatening). You are also not allowed to carry a knife unless you have "good reason" to be carrying one.
