Cancelled Engine Sounds Remastered

Yeah you can use them with credit, and if you give a link aswell. And ive already tried using the initial D sounds but people complained (as always) that they sounded "like diesel" or "unrealistic" even when i literally used the exact files lol

yeah the etk 6cyl sound is just a place holder and theyre ripped straight from engine sim. im looking for a good video to take sounds from, probably from something like an e46 330i

 

alr, thx man. just a suggestion btw maybe some v8s (im sure theyre in the works) as well as a v6 that kinda sounds VQ ish, i like the v6s you made but they kinda remind me of a Porsche in a way.

yeah ill have a look for some VQ sounds, im assuming you would want them on the v6 pessima

For putting the initial d sounds in, I would say do it, who cares about the complaints

 

go into the engine jbeam and change the soundconfig to whatever sounds are added

 

it's good but the sounds should vary, my grandpa wendover shouldn't sound like a japanese sportscar (it is kinda cool tho)

 

but it doesnt lol, it only shares sounds with the other bruckell and soliad cars

variety was one of my priorities when making this mod and by default most cars with the same type of engine would share the same sound, which is very rare in this mod

thanks i tried to make sure all the sounds were pretty good quality audio files to start with

 

yeah
needs rumbly v8s though, maybe a 460 for the moonhawk
and like a 90's chevy truck engine for the h+d-series/roamer

 

It’s just missing the octave below which is what makes 6 cylinder engines sound good

 

All the sounds are good except the I6

 

This mod is great, especially how the 4 cylinders sound, but I think the 5 cylinders sound needs more work

 

i didnt make any 5 cylinder sounds, but they will be made in a later update if thats what you mean

i can add a 3 cylinder funamental frequency in the next update if you want, i agree that it makes it sound good which is why i did it on the etk i6 engines

 

how about other turn signal sounds blink sounds and switcher sound if possible

 

as far as i know these sounds aren't replacable but i can take a look if you want
