Half this thread is “I went into the game files and saw this leak which leads me to think that this thing is gonna happen” and the other half is “i think this will happen just because.”
Or maybe it's a little too soon for a teaser Tuesday. It's been a week since 0.29 was released, so...
I think 0.30 will get a new suv because in the automation test track remaster video they showed a modded minivan and a modded suv, we just got a minivan so there is a small chance of getting another potentially modern suv.
European pickup trucks don't really exist, but yea we don't have a european transporter or lorry. I know this isn't ETS but I hate driving the T series
Hey the T-Series isn't a bad truck, it does its job, however we do need a modern truck, with a B8 MOTORR of course
VW Amarok? Unlike offerings from other European brands, Amarok was developed by VW from ground up. Also, if previous updates are anything to go by, there is usually silence for a few weeks after an update drops.
The only European Pick-Up Truck until recently was the VW Amarok, but it's now based on the Ford Ranger. I don't hate the T-Series, far from it in fact. I think it's a great vehicle in its own right. It's just that we've yet to see how modern technology can be applied in a vehicle like this in BeamNG, so there's no modern yardstick to compare it to. Oh yeah, I'd love to drive some digital equivalents to the Mercedes-Benz OM473 15.6l I6 and the Scania 16l V8 turbodiesels!
I'm not so sure about the heavy machinery update, it seems too useless. we don't even have tire tracks or deformable environments. I just think its a bit useless for now
Oh, you're talking about the T series. There will be a remaster soon, don't worry, personally I like to hitch a trailer to it and imagine myself as a trucker)) maybe it's the leisurely gameplay that makes it different from all the other vehicles, light trucks and small cars!
What if instead of adding even more new content, the 0.30 update focused on under-the-hood improvements? T-series remaster, new SUV, box truck... The truth is that Beam already has a lot of content, and adding a few mods expands it even further. I'd rather see some improvements to how the game works, both in terms of performance and features. Nothing spectacular either, just QoL upgrades (plz in-game UI rework, the current one is so damn laggy). Though I get it that a new minivan will make many more headlines than improved HDR support, even if it meant reworking half of the rendering pipeline.
Yeah, it feels like this will one of these updates that will focus on features. --- Post updated --- that would make it infinitely better, but I wonder what UI solution would they even use, they would probably need to make their own.
