I’m so glad the mod’s returned, although there are a few bugs:
Cruiser version spawns without front tires
Touge-spec version blows up engine with nitrous active
Smith vented bumper has a turn signal flash even though there are no turn signals

Other than that, this is an amazing revival of a mod.

 

Seem strange, I did not notice these bugs when creating the mod. Have you tried clearing your cache?

About the Touge-spec I think I forgot to test the vehicle with the nitrous active like a noob

 

I mean , it was years ago . With all the New updates , there must be something

 

Years and years ago, I'm quite rusty.

Problems are now fixed. An update will be released soon

 

This... This is amazing... The first big mod I used. I remember way back when this came out... Back when all of the vehicles sounded like an old 80's ford pickup, and then the covet got its own sounds, the old lawn mower mobile...

No way! I remember when this was on the repo at the top! It's amazing to see it come back! I have one suggestion for possible future updates, As we're all waiting for every car in beamNG to get a redesign, would you possibly be able to do some demolition derby configurations with the cars in your pack? That would be awesome! Either way I am looking forward to where this goes and I am incredibly happy to see you back!

This is... this is the BEST mod ever.

at least it WAS.
It still would be really cool if someone took the old ver and fixed everything.
And you know what? If someone's gonna do it, I list all the major broken things.
Roamer:
Basically only some skins having a no texture shading.
H-Series:
RV is broken, as well as the skins.
D-Series:
Diesel livery is broken.
Sunburst:
Cabrio breaks the engine and the suspensions.
Pessima I, Pessima II, 200BX:
JDM bodies cause an instability.
Covet:
Some bodies are broken.
Legran:
Skins are slightly broken.
I think that's all I remember, if somebody knows other bugs and instabilities, write it.

i noticed the moonhawk zebra 6 is based on the starsky and hutch car (Ford Gran Torino)

 

Why only have the barstow skins and models ? In the old times,all cars have several version.

 

Dj said that the Barstow's the only car that' he/she updated so far, so maybe we'll see the other cars get revived sometime in the future.

 

And he said (i asked him) he takes his time

 

Do you have the link to the old version like this? If you have, send me to test the cars because I started playing this game last year and I wanted to know where so many skins and configurations for the cars in the game come from.

Hello forum,

It seems that I've finally come to the point where I have some energy to update this mod, the idea is to have an update using no custom content except for skins. In this way the mod will go back to the origins with just configuration using vanilla content, being as varified as possible with the latest updates. This will hopefully make the mode more future-proof in terms of updates, I'd like to know your idea on this, if moving the mod to a simple config pack will still be interesting to you.
