Here you can show pictures or your ATV/Dirt Bike/SxS/Go-Kart/Mini-bike/etc.
You can chat about stuff surrounding small engines
Hell, you can advertise a whatever you're selling, as long as it relates to this thread

2002 Yamaha Kodiak, it’s basically new, I need to wash it, though.

1993 John Deere 425. I want to fix up it up, but I don’t have the time or money, as I’m saving for a new car.

This is an older picture, it is currently torn apart because I cannot find parts
It's nearly identical to when it came of the production line in Japan, apart from a horn my great grandpa (previous owner) added, because he used it on rural Michigan roads, and a front bull bar, which is not in the picture

This is a 1 (?) maybe 2 owner atv, because it was my great grandpa's farm quad, and now it's mine
Only reason it looks this good is because my grandpa took care of his equipment. He was a moterhead and a half

    Holy shit

After nearly one and a half years, I found the part to get my quad back on the road
There are maybe 10 new-old-stock versions of this part in the country
Thank Doug from Pompton Sport Center for this one
(dont please, he is just doing his job)

It was from Wisconsin, and they only used it to drive from their cabin to their dock and back. It’s insanely well-kept, except I need to clean it, as I was just driving around the gravel roads near my place.

I was going to say that that quad lokks way better than any atv from '02 should look

I made my quad seat less exposed foam and more seat cover-ish

    Jumpstarting this thread

Had to pull 8 studs that haven"t moved in 44 years on my Arctic cat Jag 3000 engine. Every single one was a bitch to even get moving.

Jag is on its way to being taken care of.

Figure I should tell the story of this machine and why I'm "rebuilding" it.
I got the sled from my uncle. I sat in the woods but was used every winter. After tearing apart the engine, it was pretty clear this thing was abused. (only had 30-40 psi of compression and no cross-hatching on they cylender walls). Thankfully the bottom end is still good, gonna make this sled fly again.

    Update:
Did more work on the Jag motor, all the studs for the bottom end are back in, while i took out the head studs because the head needs to be machined and the cylinders need to be honed

Some poor (I mean great) decisions were made today
I bought a parts quad, and its a major piece of shit
But I bought it off a family member, so it wasn't to bad to get

    upload_2023-8-19_22-16-5.jpeg
when I first got it home (if you couldn't tell, the parts quad is the one on the left)

When I got it home, Duki (the nice one I keep running) needed a single front brake pin/retainer thing, and a battery cable.

    upload_2023-8-19_22-18-20.jpeg
After about 4 hours of work, Duki is nearly fully complete again

    upload_2023-8-19_22-19-8.jpeg
I also took off the racks to paint them, they turned out really nice. When I get the racks finally back on, there will be one more thing I have to get back from a friend to finish the quad (the front bullbar I've never shown on here)

idk if this counts but its epic pic is of it unfinished dont have a finished pic. had a different red dynamite motor new front springs, new wheels, wheelie bar, and got rid of all the stock electronics for better aftermarket ones. i drove it only once. i had a catastrophic financial situation happen that took all my money so i had to sell it all my rc stuff and tools and a lot of other stuff to get by so its gone now : (. everything is ok now tho. it was pretty epic. wish i still had it.

this will the last time in a while you see the Suzuki in "one" piece. The parts quad I bought had a better frame (without rustholes in one of the most structurally important tubes in the frame). I will be putting a new frame under my quad. Lets hope this goes well

why wont it post my pics?

anyways, old frame for the suzuki is out of the garage, much more space to work

also took some soap and a brush to the gold/aluminum wheels and they turned out really nice

I did a few burnouts and made ruts a few inches deep in my Yamaha. I also got it up to 54mph (approximately), which is the fastest I've done. I won't lie, it scared the shit out of me. I haven't done much of anything to it, though, as I've been focused on my Eagle. I also remembered a 1988 White L-11 mower sitting behind a tree.

I don’t think I’ve posted this here, but I have a 2020 Honda Ruckus. It’s currently in storage, since I don’t use it. I may sell it.
