i remember this mod lmfaooo, had this mod in 2019 and then later i deleted it, it's sooo bad, why people even use it? no idea though
I got this Bently mod from BeamNGdrivemods and the steering wheel does not turn, there is no working tech, and bells and whistles inside the car. In fact, the inside of the car is simple altogether. The outside of the car is also simple, and it sounds like a Hirochi SBR4.
Why would you pay money for that? It was leaked. I don't support the leaking of forums mods, but predatory, 3rd party, crappy, overpriced mods like that should be leaked. Never buy from that person again, it's best to only buy from trusted/ forums modders and wait for the leaks of those crappy mods.
Forgot about this thread entirely... I posted in the cursed thread one a few quick analysis of some expensive mods (don't care about the 'pirate hat' nature of these, I'm not paying a dime for something I know is bad, and also, they took the 3d model from paid games in the first place and earning money with the work of someone else, so I don't think I'll feel bad about it) and the conclusion is clear, they are indeed not worth a single cent, maybe as free content, but I've seen plenty of free content way better done than this, so it's just plain sad. Opel Astra L (8€) BMW 3 E90 (7,60€) For my next, and final test (Don't really want to waste more time on these, and they were all promptly deleted after the reviews) let's review the recent Seat León 1M mod, 'worth' 7.15€: It's proudly announced some features such as animated gear shifter, handbrake and pedals, it's mostly well jbeamed, the glowmaps are also decent, the gauges are even great, and the reflection in the mirrors are correct, I'll give this mod that but...the one thing these kind of mods have in common is, they are put together in a way that makes them look good with a quick glance, and funnily enough a lot of hard and complex work such as adjusting the jbeam is done, but other details are simply overlooked (especially in the official pictures) In the pics above you can see a selection of issues, such as, and not in a specific order: Wrong texturing for the speakers (instead of the proper mesh grille you might expect, a weird chrome metal texture is used) No correct alpha setting for the interior decals (which means you get a black background on each one, instead of just having the texts and symbols visible) The steering wheel is not even close to being properly placed Many missing textures that let you see through the car (many places in the interior, including the gauges) and that includes the dome lights, the entire panel is missing! Some No Texture issues going on in the rear seats area The rims and tyres don't align as good as it should, the tyres poke through the rim License places are not properly placed Many body textures are one way only, so they are invisible from the other side, such as the bumper trims The original Vivace chassis and Leon body are not joined properly, with many gaps visible The interior spikes like crazy after a crash And finally, and not pictured, the mod retains a lot of unused Vivace slots in the parts selector, and the boxes for the openable panels remain in their original spots, but not a single panel can be opened after clicking them. Funny thing is, out of the 3 I reviewed, this is the least bad of them (If you check the Astra, which is BTW the most expensive one, your jaw will drop) but still, simply not worth it. I did meshslapping before retiring, but since the base models weren't mine, and of course many people helped, I never tried to earn any money out of it. And at least I tried to care for as much details as possible, just to feel good about it, it's clear these creators just care about the cash. And don't even get me started on that joke of a paid Bugatti I saw a few posts back and similar ones, that's just dialing the scam up to 11. Some people went bananas when some paid mods started to appear, and that's a debate on its own, but look, for some of the well-known ones at least the creators did their homework, and the price is fair considering the amount of work put onto them, but these mods? Overpaid for barely any consistent quality at all. People, use your wallet as you want, but please, don't fall for this kind of scams, that's what they are.
I bought a Golf MK5 mod from that same author of mods you talked about. I thought it would be good, but it only looks good at a glance of it lol. Then I deleted the mod, and never got to download it again only if I pay for it. idk why I almost paid over $16 on 1 mod!
The author is Hadacoolcar “Oblon” is a well known leaker and scammer he sells meshslaps for like 20 euros/dollars.
@Camodogaming24 is using meshslaps again… --- Post updated --- The Mustang has so many material errors, and it’s on the thumbnail…
