Update Speculation thread

today tdev came to me and karate kicked me in the nuts, saying "this is what you get" and then ran away slowly. I think this might mean that a 60s british hatchback is coming to beam.

piss in the radiator for enhanced cooling

Guys tdev sent a nuke to my house. This confirms that more modern cars are coming,

BeamNG x My Summer Car?

why yes, we'd need a Finnish map though and the ability to build the car from individual parts

is this update speculation or "the official blame tdev for horrible crimes thread"?

Both.

great work Beamers

Call it the California special and only give it a 2bbl 5 liter V8 hahaha

Nah, it needs a 7.1 liter V8 that makes 120 horsepower.

Nope, gotta go all the way, 500 CUI (8.2L) with 180HP.

I hope that there is a performance update coming, theres many devs working on specific areas but performance is clearly not getting prioritized as much as content.

Like, optimization?

its in transition as stated in the 0.28,
Started the process of revamping the material’s shader generator, aiming to simplify and streamline future development. More improvements will be implemented in future updates
Just to clarify, I would say the back-end is getting cleaned up so that anything implemented doesn't get convoluted; makes things alot easier to drop them in place, like a tidy room and putting things in to beautify/make things efficient
hope that clears things up for you

Yeah, a optimization update, good to know that something like that is actually in progress.

possibly this week, it's been over a month since .28

Hope next update has a sunburst remaster

Imagine if teaser tuesday was on my birthday (tomorrow)

A teaser today would be quite realistic, imagine a T Series one

honestly i just want a 2nd european map thats a big city, kind of like Italy
