'Scammed' is probably a little strong. Remember that most fast food employees are high schoolers on their first job. Even the ones that kinda care about their work are probably very nervous, and the ones who don't aren't personally gaining anything by shorting you a sandwich. And yes, as a lifelong food service worker, I strongly encourage double-checking orders at multiple points, including upon receiving the food. Plenty of things are going to be the end of car enthusiasm. Self-driving automotive technology, urban overcrowding and the new mass transit movement, environmentalism, consumers' view of the car as an appliance, standardization (EVERYTHING's a crossover). I love cars too, but it's unhealthy to expect that anything will last forever. Progress is not defined by what's familiar to the comfortable. Nothing scarier than a bridge to the ferryman...
Oh yeah, I forgot to mention that I won’t have access to my computer for two days because I am going to PAX East 2023. I will be staying in an apartment with my dad, brother, and two of my cousins. It will be a fun experience as I have been going since 2018, excluding 2020-2022. Any updates I post will be exclusively from my phone. Written from my iPhone 12 mini
Well, I'm back. It was kinda dissapointing that there was little to none AAA developers. The only one I noticed was THQ Nordic. It was so exciting that I forgot to log on at all. Anyway, I rode on the T's Blue line subway to the convention center (and then walked there). When I was coming home, I rode the Silver line(buses), then transfered to an Airport Shuttle, then went to the Blue line again(we took the wrong bus).
Does anyone know if there’s anywhere I can buy vintage film? I have my grandpa’s old video camera, but no film.
Completely random, but I only just noticed this part of the NFS Movie (2014?) Look at the rims. They're massive. Look at the fitment. Immaculate. Look at the spoiler. Beautiful. And here's a jump scene. It's slowed down, and you can really see how terrible this fitment is on the stunt car. It seems to be stock rims and fitment on the same widebody (and the spoiler is gone!).
You can still fight back, though. --- Post updated --- More specifically, fight for a better future, fight against a worse future We have self-flying aircraft and spaceships since long ago, drivers and pilots aren't going to be replaced by computers any time soon. However, some propagandist use self-driving as an excuse to end driving, which is pure evil. Urbanization and the increase availability of educations often occur simultaneously. Thus the more educated people are, the less number of children they are going to have, so urban overcrowding is not a worsening problem. If this movement is anti-freedom(like anti car-ownership, since car ownership is a choice, the less the available choice the less the freedom), fight against it, if not, leave it alone. One of the biggest environmental problem is cause by planned obsolescence. With the presence of planned obsolescence, sustainability is not achievable(an example). Thus, environmentalists should focus on ending planned obsolescence once and for all. Since the computerization of automotive is rampant(manufactures could implement anti-repair software to vehicles), if no action is taken, the problem will get worse. That doesn't make sense, since you don't need to have a license to operate an appliance. That's bad, because
im getting addicted to Stephen Colbert's show animated specials, help and i loved Jon Stewart's show on Apple TV+
oh damn, its the controversial knobs birthday! --- Post updated --- and please dont kill me, if James May calls him an knob, i can call him a knob
You can call him whatever you want, I mean he does the same to everyone else. All of his controversies so far have been idiotic (and caused by him, but still stupid).
I feel like I'm one of the lucky few who got a moderately small town but that's so accepting I, myself, hate cities or big towns, too much concrete and not enough green Though I live a bit outside of this small town in question, I can still tell that the community here is amazing I've also managed to get into a school that is so harshly accepting that anything goes here When I say harshly accepting, I don't mean that people are forced to accept people, it s the concept of "I will joke around and tease you a little, but you're fine" And for anyone who wants to guess what town is in question here's a hint: It's on a lake and is known for its lack of tourist parking (or just parking in general in the downtown area)
