For sure, though I feel like it is a bit of an insult to so much as compare this to any of those janky ass trask mods This little Sivlia is just great in its own right
Well, this little Silvia is such a beautiful and high-quality car mod that I had fun with. This little Silvia is so much better then those meshslap trash mods.
yeah she's a beauty for sure Also seeing as I am already posting here might as well make a small suggestion, I feel like the performance engine options should remove the factory air cleaner, as well as swap the twin SU carb setup for some nice chunky DCOE types with thos trumpet for maximum doot the Claria even had DCOE carbs modeled so perhaps they could be adapted to this, though I guess the textures are tied to the engine, so would be kinda wasteful to have a whole C24 engine material/texture set just for a carburetor lol
been thinking about it myself tbh. but now talking about the claria engine swaps, im thinking about the signia. could i port signia engine on the silvia? even if its from a paid mod? because that rotary sure would be a nice addition to the silvia hehehe... ive already done the engines from the covet, and have been considering doing other engines from LJ's mods. if LJ gives me the go ahead, i can port the signia engines, ill for sure start working on that this week. the real challenge would be fitting the I6 in there lol. while writing my post my adhd was too hyped at the idea so it went and imported the signia and already fit the I4 I6 and rotary. so ignore i said ill start working on that this week... this is the I6 from the signia. fits tight asf.. it seems.. needs some work all around. but it does not fit under... i dont like it if its too hacky and engines starts going thru meshes... LJ's content is quality and i want to stick by that when making this mod. the I6 engines would require a lot of work and its own custom hood lol. ill stop this here for now, wait for permission because its assets comes from the signia. but if i have time tomorrow i might start looking into the claria swaps for now. if not its gonna wait until later this week or somethin. all i know is im addicted to this small car. its such a wonderful scary driving experience being in such a small car, going insanely fast. the hillclimb stuff i made, literally takes me back to forza modifying my little datsun 510, it was weirdly one of my fav drift cars in that game, and id try to tune the thing so it can go 400km/h... and re-creating this in beamng, with all its realism backing up the 400km/h... this is such an insanely fun experience. words cannot express the feeling this SPEEDY SUICIAL MOBILE gives me when going 300km/h in some highway roads. and sometimes having enough grip to take on curves. beamng is my all time favorite game and there is a very good reason behind it, physics are lovely.. i apologize for the rambling... again, thanks LJ for this awesome mod. its a gorgeous little vehicle. hope everyone is having a lovely day
if my memory serves me right, that old satsuma mod used the old .sbeam sounds system. as a result of the old .sbeam sounds, it will break every other engine sounds if implemented over new vehicles with new sounds. i tried to port that rotary to the autobello, it was one of those mods i ended up keeping to myself because it broke the autobello sounds..... its a shame because i ended up doing a similar treatment to the autobello as this mod, added the hillclimb aero kit, and awd, that autobello was insane. maybe if LJ gives me permission to port engines from the signia ill look back into finishing up that awd rotary autobello hillclimb beast. its been years since that..... ohhh i really did not think about the zenith one. ill see where this leads. if LJ gives me permission to port the signia engines to other vehicles ill do it since these are the highest quality models. (i could cache the models if needed) if not, i may start looking at alternatives i guess? like the zenith or somethin. rotary engines are hella fun. i just wanna shove them everywhere, they almost fit everywhere lol.
Ah, it was only just to say how much this high quality mod is how much it's better then those Modland junk and World of Mods trash. It was only to insult the meshslap mods that were on Modland and WOM, not this mod. And i'm really loving this mod.
Made a small pack for it. Comes with more appropriate indicator sound and two skins: South Australia Police Highway Patrol and South Africa Police Patrol.
To add to this, the FFB is just horrendous lol. The mod is really fun and cool and looks awesome but the front suspension feels rushed. I understand that you may not have been able to test this yourself, LJ, as you may not have a wheel. Huh I have a wheel but no space to set it up so I can't do much about it, unless somebody with a wheel can troubleshoot it
