All the rear-engine buses are diesel or natural gas, but the ones built on cutaway chassis cabs(specifically Ford and Chevy) also have gas. So yeah, probably
most of the buses before were diesel but this time around it's either gas or biofuel which is still gas but much more better alternative way for using fuel
Some progress. Next - exhaust, compressor, power steering pump and oil fridge. When all main parts be complete - vacuum, oil and electric lines (hardest part I think).
Didn't think about certain release date, but smth around late summer/early autumn (if all goes how I planned it).
Really impressive drivetrain model. For wires and flexible lines, easiest way by far (at least for me) is to use bezier curves with a round bevel and a reasonable resolution, adding control points as needed and adjusting their position until things look right. It's can sometimes be a bit tedious but is fairly simple to do and will still look fine and realistic for flexible hoses and wires. Once I'm done adjusting the shape I just duplicate the part (to keep a backup) and convert it to mesh.
On this moment I think no, because a) real Erga don't have LHD version and b) for making LHD version I need to flip mostly all parts of bus to other side (with current detalisation of the model - its very untrivial task).
Maybe for LHD, it'll be separate Philippines themed mod Because I heard in PH there is a lot of Japan surplus buses. Isuzu Cubic is one of them
Well, it take a little longer what I expect, but now: - it have normal window frames on both side - emergency door added (it planned to be openable ofc) - closed all holes in interior - some optimisation (now it have 240k (242k with LV290 parts) polys) Next - interior and some exterior parts (A/C block, mirrors and more openable hatches) Stay tuned!
that's really super cool! It's really fun to see the progress of this mod. Are there any plans to add Olympic license plates?
