Blue is just ETK's color, the current ttSport+ models have blue calipers and their Driving Experience livery has a blue stripe
why do i feel like the devs would remove the 1996 Pessima on April 1st, only to add it back a day later
I know that this is more of a request, but it fits the theme of the new update Maybe since it is a racing update, me could get some better drift steering? All the drift steering are pitiful, but the I-Series has some decent angle (please for the love of tdev)
is knallhart even a brand though, or is it just the name of a one-off custom built car, like the Notte Bolide, Nightsnake Barstow, or 200BX Demon? the description of the config says "A unique custom variant with massive power and all-wheel drive" and the config is listed as Custom rather than Factory.
knallhart (very hard) is also a very weird name for a german company... would make more sense as a japanese Tuner a la Rauh Welt begriff --- Post updated --- the famous japanese Tuner Knall Hart Wörter... Every kid dreams of owning a KHW ETK sometime
I believe Knallhart could become its own unique tuner shop with expertise in ETK models, like I said. Plus, since you mentioned the "-snakes", the Nightsnake could also become an official (and by that I mean "factory", since, well, it's already officially in the game) lineup variant of the Barstow model range. Actually, now that I think about it, the Kingsnake, Nightsnake and Lancehead variants could also get their own unique badging signifying them. E.g., the Kingsnake could have a silver snake, the Nightsnake could have it in black and the Lancehead could have it in gold colour, since the famous Lancehead pit viper has a golden skin (not to mention that the Lancehead variant could also be painted in Medallion Gold as its introductory colour, instead of the Ice Blue colour it's painted in right now)!
Once again though, the Lancehead, Tracksport, and Kingsnake are all "Factory" configs, whereas the Nightsnake is a "Custom" config. It makes 507hp, over the Kingsnake's 344hp, which would make it entirely unrealistic to be a period-built factory thing, so it's intended to be an upgraded "restomod" version. if you wanted to make it a factory version, you would have to nerf it until it's pretty much identical to the kingsnake, defeating the purpose of it even existing.
the famous japanese Tuner Knall Hart Wörter... The Barstow is based on the AMC rebel the machine which had a planned version with 500 HP... Also some cobras had that much power
You're right, 500+hp in the 60s was only present on NASCAR racing and naturally aspirated NHRA dragging Muscle Cars plus a couple of Shelby- and Mopar-tuned Muscles and Ponies. But I still think the Nightsnake could officially be offered by Gavril back then by simply removing the Stage 1 Performance Long Block and putting the Heavy Duty Long Block in its place (plus retaining the 5-Speed transmission, as a unique selling feature for the Nightsnake and the TrackSport). The 423ci V8 already has the Stage 2 Supercharger, so it should still be good for ~400hp on its own, putting the Nightsnake above the Kingsnake and its 345hp, with the Stage 1 Supercharger and the Stock Long Block. There's a good rival for the (slightly older and from the same brand, but still) Bluebuck 423 RoadSport, which makes ~420hp from its NA 423ci with the Stage 1 Performance Long Block and the Twin Four-Barrels! And since we mentioned the TrackSport, it could have its own special badging too, with a checkered flag! ------------------ edit: I went on and looked for the stats of these two Barstow versions using the Torquecurve UI App and here are the results: Barstow 423ci Kingsnake 345Hp/705Nm - Stock Long Block, Stage 1 Supercharger, Race Dual Exhaust, 5200rpm redline with Overrev Risk Barstow 423ci Nightsnake 507Hp/839Nm - Stage 1 Performance Long Block, Stage 2 Supercharger, Race Dual Exhaust, 5500rpm redline with no Overrev Risk (As it should be from the factory: 404hp/796Nm - Heavy Duty Long Block, Stage 2 Supercharger, Race Dual Exhaust, 5500rpm redline or 391Hp/789Nm w-5200rpm redline, like in the Kingsnake)
I feel like we just don't have enough info on Knallhart to really know. Sorta the same can be said for whatever Notte is. Your explanation is likely, but it doesn't mean that I don't want to see a Knallhart K-Series with a TT V8 and 700hp
This is why i am asking myself if all the vehicles they are make, are stopping them from making huge progress, as they have to remaster and remaster them all again because they age so fast by the process. Which also means that they shouln't add much new vehicles to the game if major things aren't finished yet. A rabbit hole of remasters.
They will eventually fill all vehicle niches and it will stop then. But it's probably still a long time until then.
Then they should finalize the graphics and update all cars (including those which have been remastered before) to a consistent standard of quality before adding more vehicles, otherwise it will be more and more work every time I say this knowing full well that it will lead to people screaming DEVS Y U NO ADD MOAR CAR, but I think the existing lineup has more than enough opportunities to grow with new parts, body styles, configs, etc. that I'd be willing to wait while they focus on expanding the possibilities with the current vehicles
