The Blackstone would’ve been so cool; it just needed a better name --- Post updated --- I’d say the Blackstone seems more like a Scout (but maybe that’s because I’m biased towards International) --- Post updated --- Honestly, I like the ‘96 Pessima with it’s indicators/reverse lights on the bottom. It makes it look like a Taurus, kinda
I was leaning mostly towards the Chivala since there really isn't any minivan mod for the 2010 era, most of them are just 90s-Y2K era, as well as a suprise vehicle I drew a while ago in the Esesel Car Concept thread that I also feel would be a fun shitbox to whip around --- Post updated --- Yeah the 96 Pessima lights always struck me as slightly odd with the upper indicators while the first gen Pessima had them on the bottom, it was a fun little rabbit hole to go down even if it was kinda off topic for the entire car
Honestly, I like the ‘96 Pessima with indicators/reverse Once if I ever I learn how to mod, I want to make alternate lights for a few vehicles, namely the H-Series (older D-Series taillights for the older gen) and the Sunburst (lights are to cluttered), but now I’ll add the Pessima to that list dream.
Sunburst front end could definitely go for a little remodelling, the lights, grille, front bumper have just some weird design features that most 2013-2016 era beam vehicles possess, like how the D Series would be the only truck to use double stacked reflector lights (generally the lower ones are blinkers instead of dedicated lights) or how the H Series had that weird upper lip on its grille that jutted out slightly into the hood and heavily sunken lights into the black plastic, or the D Series having physically impossible blinkers (4:1 length ratio which would be impossible to fully illuminate and use with lights of the era). Just the little things like that that just need a little cleaning up
Ok good news! I know I said I would likely finish this before the end of February... I lied However, I finally have free time this week so it will be wrapped up by Saturday at the very latest! I got some great ideas brewing for these final ones and how they can fit into the BeamNG lore, so stay tuned!
Its BACK! Take a ride on the 1990 Jargl DT825 and learn about a partnership between Jargl-Wentard, as well as the impact of globalization on the sales and distribution of buses worldwide! (I swear its not as boring as it sounds, or maybe it is, I'm biased because I wrote it) As a note for the upcoming Jargl Squit, it should be noted that Swedish based Jargl draws heavy inspiration from Volvo and SAAB, two companies known for generally using letter-number combos for naming vehicles instead of things like Squit. To try to find out what this car might've been based on, I made it a mission to find all Volvo and SAAB cars with names that aren't letter-number gibberish. I am happy to report that I found ONE (1) vehicle produced by Volvo/SAAB that uses a REAL WORD instead of numbers to name a car. This car is a bit of an oddity in my eyes, but it does conveniently fill a niche that we haven't fully addressed within this lore, so I am happy to introduce it........ Possibly tommorow maybe Tuesday. So stay tuned!
There's always the Kalmar, and the name Squit makes me think that the Kalmar is exactly what inspired the concept list vehicle.
Hmmmmm could make sense, especially if Jargl was meant to be more of a commercial use vehicle manufacturer and it would fill in an interesting vehicle niche. Then again it feels like the Kalmar would go to a much smaller brand. Definitely a cool vehicle though.
Well how's that for not being dead? The 1973 Jargl Squit awaits to tell a story of european club racing, american production, and possibly questionable design choices. The Soliad Palisade will be out sometime this week too, which will conclude the Concept Stage project and hopefully launch the next vehicle project I have been pondering, so stay tuned! As well, I have been practicing 3D modelling using Fusion360, and while I won't be able to put any vehicles in game, I have been toying with the idea of making the concepts a little less.. well.. two dimensional... no promises though, but I would love to implement it for future projects!
The 1981-1987 Bruckell Confiada & 1992-1995 Ibishu Pessima both look like vehicles that look like they will be a challenge/possible for me to make. I'll have a go and try to make them into mods.
Done the Rear Doors and Body a bit (It's Currently on the Legran). You think you could draw a different interior design? I'm sure the Bruckell Confiada wouldn't use the same interior as the Legran.
Thanks. --- Post updated --- Also is the Bruckell Confiada meant to have a lack of signals & reflectors?
For the Confiada front lights, the shaded squares beside the headlights is supposed to be a big amber turn signal, and on the taillights the indicators wouldve been the shaded region closest to the edge of the vehicle Sometimes they look kind of similar to the rear lights due to shading but I'll highlight in paint really quick what I had in mind when drawing it --- Post updated --- Kinda like this, excuse the poor quality but I'm not great with paint.net. As for reflectors yeah I probably just forgot to throw them in while making it, go ahead and place them wherever. --- Post updated --- As a hint towards our final vehicle: It is a early 2000s sport coupe known for a factory turbocharger, bold wing, factory body-kit, and a track time faster than a Nissan R34 Skyline. Happy guessing!
So if you haven't guessed already I have not yet been able to make progress on the last vehicle. I recently ended up slicing off part of my finger on my right hand (the one I use to draw) so I won't be able to upload any drawings for a little bit. Hopefully I will have something done by the end of next week!
