Thanks, I'll have to look into that. I don't understand how to do scenarios, ai roads, and races yet. So all of that will come later on. If you or anyone could tell me why it's conflicting and how to fix, that'd be helpful. All of this will be fixed later on, I have ALOT of work to do still. Floating trees, uneven roads, still gotta paint the terrain on the roadsides, still have alot of work on my main city, lights on airport runway, ect...... I have permission from Bob, the creator of Los Injurous, to use his Non Commercial assets. So the city will start coming Together sooner than later.

yeah y yeah......... you never messaged me asking if you could use my ground textures or groundmodels, or the custom rock models done by my friend chuck. your gonna need to take this down as you are using assets from my paid map without permission
SMH...You supported his patreon, then used custom assets without permission? Pretty sure it says on his patreon page, not to temper with the map, or use any of the assets. idk just relaying what was said. you might wanna take this down until you get things sorted. not a good look man.
Although I didn't ask beforehand, I did give you credit and mentioned the patreon, if it's really a problem I used terrain paint textures and rocks, I'll change em. Personally, I don't see an issue here though. I'm not claiming to have modeled anything or made the textures. Not interfering with anyone's income. Not asking for donations or anything. Just wanted to make a good map for everyone that isn't pay walled.
By using custom assets from a Paid map. Yes I want all custom assets removed immediately. Giving credits is not good enough especially since in numerous places I post it is very much stated DO NOT edit files or re-upload anything of mine.
The problem is you didnt ask permission. Its really not that complicated. if you want to alter a mod, that you didnt create, give credit of course but you also ask permission to use the creators stuff. Its the unspoken rule as old as time. Dont pay attention to the new found friends you'll get now that you have something to offer. Just handle it the correct way. Rule #1; Most free mods are Fair game.(But ask permission)
Almost positive when I first subbed to him, there was nothing saying I couldn't. Got ya, I'll just edit the models and make my own textures. Expect a dedicated F You on the map. --- Post updated --- Hell, I thought credit was good enough. Plus I was subbed to his Patreon for like 3 months, thought itd be fine. Not like I'm taking the uniqueness of his map away. It's a very different type of map than tillamook. But I understand, I'll just edit the models or make clones of em and use em. I think I used 4 different rocks, shouldn't be that hard to imitate.
I get it, just rule of thumb. i learned the hard way too. lol Always start a map with the vanilla maps. Keeps the riff raff and confusion away.
His map actually is really great, which is why I used it as a start point. The rocks are probably the best looking in the game so far. They look damn near perfect when comparing to the limestone around where I'm from. Just didnt think it'd be an issue since our maps are completely different. He has a much more realistic terrain, his trails are way different, and his map being wayyyyy smaller, he can detail everything alot mmore. I get he wants payed for his work, but anyone interested in his patreon will be interested whether or not I made a map with a couple of his rocks and paint. I will respect his wishes though, it'll be deleted for a day or two.
Id get your own models and not edit the ones from tillamook, ill also be looking forward to seeing the f you.
I got ya I can legally make a damn near clone of the models used and there isn't a thing anyone can do about it. I'll just have to start from scratch. Which I will do.
Legally I’m sure you can’t place a remark that attempts or does ruin a persons image. The legality is questionable but the fact it’s a dickwad move surely is not. He has a right to say that he doesn’t want you using assets and you aren’t respecting that. If I’m to take a guess as to why I would say you are just too lazy to change the textures.
Where does anyone try to ruin anyone's image here? Agreed though. I could understand his POV more if it was free, but that was a paid mod. You can't just take and use assets from a paid mod without explicit permission. And then to get mad that the mod creator said no? Seems odd to me.
That's not ruining someone's image. He can do that if he wants, there's no illegality in that. Ruining someone's image is, for example, accusing them of a crime that they didn't do, and causing their lives to be ruined or negatively affected in turn.
