Turns out, with enough weight reduction, it drifts.

    Hello! The Stambecco rules!

I have a small suggestion regarding the interior: When driving the vehicle at night it is really difficult to see instrument panels and controls etc. especially when in the middle of desert off roading with no other light sources available. Is there any liklehood or possibility of a toggleable interior light/map light being added to the Stambecco? It would be a small but really useful detail!

Interesting, if I interpret the data in the jbeam correctly, the Stambecco engines can withstand higher g-forces than any vehicle to date:

Tolerated G-forces that do not cause oil starvation:

Regular BeamNG Vehicle Oil Pan: 1.2 G
Regular BeamNG Vehicle Race Oil Pan: 1.5 G

Stambecco Stock Oil Pan: 2.0 G
Stambecco Race Oil Pan: 2.2 G

EDIT: Confirmed in the game. This makes the Autobello Stambecco the most resistant non electric car against oil starvation.

This could be somewhat realistic, but I'm not sure about this. IRL the Pinzgauer has 2 oil pumps/pickups so that it won't starve of oil in odd situations, this could apply to high G cornering as well.

There would be certainly ample space available for a battery pack for an EV conversion:cool:. In addition, considering the sheer size of the drivetrain, it seems possibly to have a motor per axle, possible even a motor per wheel for unrivaled AWD capability.

In addition to having a better torque development than a combustion engine, the greatly reduced drivetrain lenght and complexity would allow more power to reach the wheels for a given horsepower rating. Being in full 6X6 AWD mode saps arround half the combustion engine power away in drivetrain losses alone. Which is unsurprising really, when you consider the amount of shafts, gears, differentials that have to be rotated in addition to the - portal axled - wheels.

That would be so cool! There are electric Pinzgauers in real life, and a swap wouldn't hurt, in fact, it would help tremendously with performance.

Finally, logging on the game after 41 long days! The Stambecco rules!! ;););)

I have a few suggestions about the audio though.
    1) About the levers that control the gearing mechanisms (transmission, hi/lo range, front transfer case, diff locks): in such a bare-bones vehicle, they should sound much louder - equally as loud as the doors of the Stambecco, I should say. They should have a loud metallic sound, a "ka-thonk" signifying the gears being selected/connected.
    2) This is also true of the switches on the dashboard. The indicator stalk and the umbrella handbrake should also sound louder (they're almost non existent right now, just like all of the aforementioned levers) and the ignition key switch should also have its own loud metallic sounds.
    3) I noticed the CTIS/TPMS and that made me wonder: shouldn't the tires have their own in-/deflating "whoosh" sounds when the air gets in and out of them?

And another suggestion: shouldn't the TPMS head unit be included in the "Dashboard" menu instead of lying alone in the general "Body" menu, just like the TPMS valves are in the beadlock wheels menu?

    Edit!
Another point for correction: the BeamNG logo on the "BeamNG" spare tire cover isn't visible at all.

Yep, hadn't realised that either, especially about its width! I put a 6x6 variant on the roller ramp and got surprised by how easily it fits from side to side. The H-Series is quite a tighter fit, in comparison!

The view of the suspension working is awesome on both the 4X4 and the 6X6;):

The suspension is so cool on this thing. Btw, if I doesn’t have enough power to get rolling, instead of absolutely frying the poor clutch you could also just use low range mode ;)

It's got plenty of get-up-and-go on 1st gear at high range too! Just don't change to any other gear! :)

someone should make a v8 swap for this thing to deal with the really low power it has offroading

This would be awesome, but none of the vanilla V8s will fit in there without significant modification of the vehicle. A custom 60 degree air cooled V8 would be an interesting swap however. And maybe a water cooled V8 too.

It has plenty of power for offroading. You're not going fast offroad... put it in low range if you need more torque

There are some stock tuning options available too that increase power output.
