I do hope they put a little tiny desert town with a long lonesome road through the desert in it just for the Route 66 vibes. But i think we will see something like that at the very least even with this map obviously off road race focused it seems huge so i dont think they would just make it that big with almost nothing in it even it would be realistiv according to the IRL location. Im really exited about the map and all possibilities that come with it!
That’s a great idea! It does seem logical and make sens with a lot of stuff we’ve seen. I can’t wait to see if it’s really that and how configurable it is
i still can recall the flashbacks of crashing my Widebody Lancer Evo 9 going over a tiny bump with 400 kilometer per hour
This update has been literal years in the making - no super powers involved here! Just tons of hard work and perseverance. The work on some of the upcoming content started life 5 years ago, for example (and only now have we been able to finish it to our modern standards).
Does it mean some of the stuff was finished or near finished before, and you are only releasing it now to fit the theme of the map?
Like what things were started 5 years ago? The map(makes sense)? The van? The buggy (that would make sense)? The SBR4 thing (also makes sense)? Or what?
I wonder in the background. On the left you can see what I assume is the end of the map with the mountains, but on the right it doesn’t seem to end. I really wonder how they’re managing that. Like is it just the render distance not showing mountains really far, how do they end the map? If they’re really copying the original place it can’t be an ocean. I’m really curious.
Maybe I'm still a bit subconsciously disappointed by the map not being set in Australia (which is 100% a "me"-problem) but I'm still not that excited for it. I'm sure it'll win me over once I get to drive there. As far as the Autobricko is concerned, I'm all over it. I don't even know why I like it this much lol
