Update Speculation thread

Ok, chill. My mistake, but it was very similar at the first glance.

More like 5
The UTVs were confirmed to not be coming

I don't remember an sbr4 variant. Can anyone show me it or the teaser date for it?

Well this is interesting and only confirms my theory. You can almost 1 to 1 line up the picture with google earth and its right near the King of the Hammers race sight, plus you can see the base camp in the teaser.

Yes, however historically all concept art teaser posts have been extremely close to what gets released. The Scintilla's bodywork and the JRI remaster teaser both come to mind here. Concept art using assets entirely not planned for game is a first as far as I can recall, and looking at the comments on every platform it was clearly confusing for the general community. This was not just one or two people mistaken.

I absolutely love to see the team's concept art and have no problem with misc assets being used in them, but looking at the overall reception I don't think I'm out of line saying there was a procedural error here and lessons to be applied for next time.

The buggy in the teaser for the gas station people were guessing it was an off-road sbr variant

Here. This is speculated to be an SBR4 variant; it might be its own vehicle.

I dont think so.
What i could imagine is it could easely borrow its drivetrain which is all it needs to be an absolute demon on the road!

This is what people thought was a SBR4 Thing, which was the T-Rex teaser. Leeloo said herself that its the same vehicle, and its very likely an Ultra 4 Buggie because of the location and its style.

i am now allmost positive there are more versions of the otter

Johnson Valley seems to be a big map, look at those buildings, nearly 1 mile from cam at the first glance.
Maybe at the size of Italy or even larger? exciting XD

I wonder how they will manage the border of the map

How are they managing to push this much content? I'd imagine a good amount of it must have been delayed from 0.26, but that alone can't account for it. Is there a new off-road vehicle team in addition to the on-road vehicle team?

Almost definitely larger than Italy. I’m guessing 6 k*lometers by 6 k*lometers, maybe even 8x8

I love King of the Hammers, I'm glad to see cars and maps that allow for that style of racing.

Why did you censor kilometers, are you trying not to offend Americans? I think we can handle it

Probably with mountain ranges.
Correct me if im wrong im not familiar with the surroundings of the teased Johnson Valley map
