Update Speculation thread

Based on the new gas station teaser image, it seems like it might be US based (gas price in gallons, similar to midwestern state pricing right now)

Unless this is just related to a Utah map update

 

Most speculation has been leaning this way, possibly Mexico as well.

 

Does anyone else think that the gas pumps are spaced way too far apart?

It's just concept art, not necessarily indicitive of the final product

 

It might just be so that large vehicles have plenty of room to fit in. With where this likely is, stuff like big pickup trucks are probably common.

 

I just want the update soon.

On an unrelated topic, am I the one who thinks the little orange dinossaur looks extremelly cute? Huge props to the artist who drew that concept, and I hope they do Rexy (my nickname to the dinossaur) justice when it comes to 3D modelling it.

when i saw the teaser i thought it meant we're getting a fuel refill mechanic or something like that, did'nt think of the new map
i guess new map is better

Fuel refill will come eventually but there's a lot of stuff needed to be done beforehand.

 

Fuel cap/flap integration and interaction, finding an algorithm for fuel (re)filling, making the fuel pump spots interactive, making the hoses of the gas pumps interactive, adding rolling counters to the gas pumps, stuff like that I guess...

Not sure if i just caught speculationitis, or you're actually teasing at refueling being implemented in the game (together with this teaser showing a gas station)
