Now another thing is. Do we think the K series remaster will also have the 800 remastered with it? They are platform twins after all and the 800 has a big lack of content just like the K series. A sedan and a LWB version would be cool, maybe a V12 almost Rolls Royce/Bentley/Maybach version under a new badge? Maybe even a touring car wagon? Subaru did run a wagon in the BTCC recently and BMW still competes so there would be some overlap for it to happen.
The 800 is a 3-Series sized car, there's no way it can get either a LWB body or a V12. A Twin-Turbo V8 is far more logical. As for the K-Series, well, it could get a V12 but the Twin-Turbo V8 seems far more logical for this car too. The V12 (ideally a 6.0l Twin-Turbo unit, for further representing the modern German "Lego" way of engine design and construction) seems much more appropriate to an F-Segment/Full-Size ETK Luxury Sedan.
The teasers for the Vivace were when it was nearly finished. These clearly aren't. Lately the devs have been posting teasers long before the content actually comes out.
You might be right with the SBR engines. Looking at the teaser it looks like it’s a flat engine and DOHC.
Some of the files for the buggy were left in the files of 0.26 unfinished(they’ve since been removed) and were shown with a Piccolina body on the chassis. It’s a custom off-road tube chassis, but it is part of the Piccolina.
We don't know how much of that was being used as a test bed though. Diamondback has used strange existing vehicles to try out new stuff, it's not a stretch to think Ferretank wanted to test some half finished stuff using a donor car. It would make sense that's why it was forgotten about and left in the public release. I'm sure it uses a fair bit of Piccolina, but we don't know how much. I doubt this would be in the Piccolina's vehicle selector, it certainly has less in common than existing pairs (Roamer/D-Series, Pigeon/Wigeon, LeGran/Wendover)
I can't imagine we'd have a whole vehicle in the selector labeled "Autobello Piccolina Offroad Buggy" though, so I figure it'll simply be a different unibody option on the existing Piccolina so that existing skins, etc. will work properly. I imagine it will be the same case for the upcoming pickup truck and its trophy truck brother.
I really hope with this we will get Piccolina remaster/quality pass too. Would make sense because they've done similar things (Wendover and LeGran remaster in same update). My current prediction is: 0.27: ETK remaster (either just k series or both 800 and k series) + this piccolina buggy 0.28: Regular truck + Trophy Truck (the teased one) + other remaster (T-series?) 0.29: ETK van/unimog thing Last 2 are interchangeable though really (I just chose pickup first because I want that more )
Last time we saw it the bodywork was unwrapped for Piccolina textures, including the skin UV. It also used unmodified Piccolina doors and some other parts. It wouldn't make sense for the devs to duplicate those parts or put them in the common folder, especially the skins. So it must be the same vehicle. And if it's the same, I wonder how much will be interchangable, like can we put the SBR engine in the normal Piccolina to make an insane wheelie monster like the drag Hopper?
You’ll find the pictures and the details about on that comment : https://www.beamng.com/threads/update-speculation-thread.20246/page-2362#post-1508039
You're welcome I'm already thinking of a good pun for the next teaser. Which, as I mentioned during the stream, is probably gonna happen this week (づ ◕‿◕ )づ
Stuff somewhat forgotten about we might want to consider- Moonhawk rear fascia alludes to a remaster I series has unused badges 800 series has unused badges ETK V12 in game files(?) Jared said that if he was here before, the sunburst would get the SBR's F4. There is no reason for Hirochi to have two separate modern DOHC petrol 4-cylinders with similar displacement, stock power, and aftermarket performance potential. The SBR's F4 is also presumably in the Piccobuggy, a car no doubt Jared had a big part in A small Asian truck would be great for a sunny and dry map, and a great "base" for the new trophy truck Considering how many Ibishus there are, this could definitely be a Hirochi, which would, if the above assumptions are correct, use petrol and diesel boxers Thoughts? Edit: @McBeamer94 told me that according to @Jackets64 SBR boxers are in common folder. @ManfredE3 you might want to add the SBR engine stuff to your expectance log.
