Why would it? Its ton of work and if what titantls said is true it would be awesome if they will implement groundwork for these features in the next update. Its not disappointing its massive progress.
Speaking of slippery surfaces, it could lean into the general direction of getting rainy weather in game as maybe a random event and/or selectable weather condition
A reminder this is what Tdev said "This is a big topic, but the update after this will have some feature that we worked on for some months now that is in that direction" This is far from exact confirmation of mud or scratches as the update speculation thread has made it seem to be. “In that direction” is vague enough to mean anything from frame/backround work to a rudimentary workign system of sorts. I feel like some are taking this as a guarantee and may be disappointed.
No, we don´t. We just speculate about it maybe can happen and it would be really cool. I atleast expect nothing until i see something solid. If some here do they will get disappointed for sure.
with a new fire truck coming i really hope they work on the fire. how it looks and how it behaves maybe fire will finally be able to emit light and cause damage to near by vehicles internal/external
But for BeamNG.drive enthusiasts. It really be like it tho --- Post updated --- Imagine one day vehicles could burn out like in real life when caught in fire. That would be the real deal!
Proper fire is something I've always wanted for Beam, but it has always felt like something not worth doing for the devs. Would be awesome if it happened though!
I hope we get some region-specific versions of the ChoroQ. I'm guessing it is a ways away considering how much content it could/should bring.
It's just my nickname for the ETK truck. ChoroQ is a line of Japanese toys and a few videogames (Gadget Racers was really the only one that gained traction in western markets; though I grew up with ChoroQ 4 and it's still one of my all time favorites... Abysmal critical reviews though, IGN gave it a 2/10). They are characterized by stubby boxy cartoon styling. Looking at the teaser just reminds me of a ChoroQ with how boxy it is, especially the vertical windshield and stubby nose. Aside from how square the ETK truck is it doesn't have anything to do with ChoroQ at all.
