Re: General discussion chat You wouldn't do that. Look that BMW in the eyes, and tell it you want to drown it. You can't. Because only a psycopath would murder such a beautiful E46.
Re: General discussion chat Notice the messy lines- that bears resemblance to rushing Notice the ducktail spoiler?- that bears resemblance to the 1983 Mazda rx7. Notice the popup headlights?- if you are blind then I can tell you that they are as sexy as fuck. Anyways here's what I think the new rx7 should look like.
Re: General discussion chat I know, I'm kidding. I'm not really a BMW fanboy, but I like them. That one's modified, but no to the point that it's ruined.
Re: General discussion chat Notice people are posting car sketches here which is cool, so thought id do the same. Heres one ive been doing for the past half hour, bit of idea generation. Have some idea what i want to achieve, but really want to explore all the options.
Re: General discussion chat Just realised something else I have come to loath in my car. The interior light. The light itself, yeah that works, whatever, but the switch for it. Every car I have driven has had 1 of 2 approaches. Either a 3 position switch with on, off and auto usually just left in auto, or the light itself acting as a giant 3 position rocker switch for on off and auto. Almost every car (not all of them) I have driven has had the headlight controls on the indicator stalk. My corsa. It has a little twisty dial for the headlight controls mounted sort of under the dash (its kinda near the ignition). That actually works fine, its kinda foolproof. I don't loath that feature. But not only does it switch from off to daytime/parking light to on (fullbeam is still indicator stalk), if you push it in, it will turn the interior light on, push it again and the light turns off. However if the light has come on automatically when you open the door, that method wont turn the light off. There is no way of disabling the light turning on when the door opens and then you get situations like last night. Gave mums friend a lift home, she wanted to look in her purse for her house keys, went to claw the ceiling around the light looking for the switch to turn it on. It is of course not there. Seriously, why is it nowhere near the light it controls???? - - - Updated - - - Even office wants to rub it in.

Re: General discussion chat Seen a discussion online about how just about every single piece of human killing wildlife is in australia. However, this did not account for a species of animal known the the United Kingdom. It is an increasingly common bipedal species known for irrational aggression, highly unpredictable, deadly, council housed and with a distinct alpha male syndrome. It is known as the chav.
Re: General discussion chat My shitty ford has more electrical gremlins. Piece of shit one day I'm going to set a match to it.
Re: General discussion chat My moms Expedition has been in the shop for a week and a half because of electrical issues. Fuckin' thing won't start and nobody can figure out why. I'm convinced that Expeditions are complete junk.
Re: General discussion chat Crown vics are badass enough that electrical problems don't matter, even though I don't really think they they have many. Badass
General discussion chat My mom had a 99 Taurus and a 2000 Mercury Sable (pretty much the same car with different looks) and she hated both of them. Transmission slipped, brakes were reluctant, radiator broke a lot, etc. She killed the Taurus because the tranny sucked, damn near killed the Sable, too. She also knew a good amount about taking care of a car, so she's not to blame. Her least favorite thing was the fucking radiators. Between both cars, she went through at least three or four. Wouldn't have been such a problem if the mechanic didn't have to take off the whole front bumper just to fucking check it. This was Tapatalk's idea, not mine.
Re: General discussion chat We haven't had any bad experiences with cars since I was born. My mom had a Mazda Navajo when I was born. Never had any problems with that, but they did sell it before it got very old. After that they bought the Highlander. The only thing that's ever been wrong with that was an o2 sensor. Ya know, the one that messed with the choke . The F150 has had some steering problems. Had to have the box rebuilt a while ago, all in all it's been a really good truck though. Dad leased an 03 Infinity Q45 from 03 to 07. That was a cool car. After that he bought a Nissan Altima. Besides some dumb woman backing into him in a parking lot, never had anything wrong with it. Had that until 2010 when we bought the Cx-9. He got the highlander and my mom got the Mazda. Been that way since. All good cars.
Re: General discussion chat Bitch I posted that in the Skype group Speaking of electrical gremlins, my car's climate control module went funky, so I went hunting for another one. eBay had a few used ones going for $100-500AUD, an online autoelectric part store offered a genuine new one for $1300, and the Audi stealership wanted $2300 (!) for this dinky little thing: (imported from here) Turns out a few solder joints were broken, so I fixed it myself with a soldering iron and a steady hand...
