Hello there! As you probably know, the Gavril Vertex rework update released recently. I have been watching what others posted and made with the mod and I’m quite impressed with what y‘all created! I love the things some people managed to create with the endless list of parts, things I never even thought of. Due to that, I decided that it would be a cool idea to make an add on pack with a bunch of community made configurations! (As if there weren’t enough already… ) If you have made a config that you think is cool, feel free to send the config, as well as an image of it and don’t forget to mention which wheel mods (if any) you have used! Cheers
Never uploaded a file here, hope I did it the right way?? Anyways these 3 are included. A Touring car with AWD, and the 2.0. An electric variant of the same touring car. And a V8 Supercar. Personally really like how they drive.
ricer but not really V6 twin Turbo shit ton of stuff in interior Police hidden lightbar and shit requires machine wheel pack mod: https://www.beamng.com/resources/machines-wheel-pack.1931/
Here is the Fission Cushion Edishion, made to be as comfortable as possible Based off the Fission, it uses air suspension to achieve the comfiest ride you can get.
This is the "Phaien Costum", It has a thick V8 with a few upgrades, tinted windows (and lights) aswell as a sporty bodykit. I used the Work Emotion XD9 from D-Troxx Wheelpack btw
it's "burnouts" in the config selector (you have to spawn it manually from the configurator, not the car spawner because i'm dumb and can't figure out how to properly do it, or just turn on custom configs) Does really good burnouts It's got a bone stock v8 with a big blower, orange paint, no rear brakes or ESC, and 15x7's with offroad tires in the rear
My 3 cylinder powered Ukrainian Vertex, even though it sounds slow, it starts fast. Also, it has godmode parts (except for the front clad). It has Ukrainian livery because i'm from that country, so i decided to put it because... why not.
I made a custom AWD drift config on the base of the time attack version. For the tires, I used the Funked's tire pack
I haven't managed to make anything good yet so you can have this for now It looks really dumb and that's the point, but it's pretty fast, can reach 800 km/h without the rockets and with them I got 3000 km/h. But handles terrible which is to be expected from something like this.
woo config pack. do I send the models, JPG, and the PC file? im not sure if I should make more, but here you go. its a slow one tbh --- Post updated --- (license plate design is the nunavut one from the canadian plate pack as well)
I want to make the biggest contribution to this thread, the gen 1, 3, and technically 4 (although that's more of a facelift), but I'm getting hung up on what I think is the first step after making the car a folder, making a 3d model. Probably in the wrong thread, but I'd like for someone to create the models for the car. Jbeam in the next update should be amplitudes easier, so that's rather exciting and I'll probably hold out till then to fit the jbeam to the car.
That's not how it works. It just won't require buggy external programs for the optional visualisation and node allignment, and will also speed up creating lots of beams and managing the triangles. The main process won't be any easier, just faster. That's still exciting but it won't help anyone who has little Jbeam experience so far. So in your case I wouldn't say it will get any easier for you.
I'm bored so I did this. Basically, it's just a tuned V8 Vertex with air suspension, a bodykit, and engine upgrades; simple and nothing crazy about it. I created it for myself but I didn't put much effort into it. Oh and also you need E’X’s custom wheels for the wheels to work if you decide to try it out.
They are making the vehicle editor in World Editor actually functional, allowing it to view and edit Jbeam in game. You can edit the code in the "traditional" way like in a text editor, or via editing stuff in some tree view. And your changes are highlighted in real time on the vehicle you are editing. Hopefully they will add some easy way to move nodes around. The info was posted on Discord from what I remember.
I've been digging in guided and the stock Jbeam files, and it seems simple but most likely repetitive to me.
This literally looks like a prerunner, really cool Edit: I actually made my own prerunner now inspired by that
