Did I miss something? Or is this just the usual hopeful Aussie speculation that we've all been doing since 2013 :p

i hope they also give every engiene their own sound except the ones who are shared between cars so that the bruckell v8s doesnt sound like the Gravil ones and the smaller like the big ones
dont get me wrong the sounds are good especially the vivace 5 cyl, bolide v8 and scintilla v10 but it lacks sound diversity
and i think this tool would greatly help

We definitely need more variety of engine sounds, since it makes no sense for the 60s Gavril engines To sound the same as more modern ones, or for American and Japanese engines to sound identical. I really hope the devs use that tool to improve engine sounds.

Another gripe of mine is the way sound seems to travel in the game, for example a lot of vehicles horns seem not loud enough from even a short distance away (especially from a side that not the front of the car), like sound doesn’t project very far.

Exactly. I mean the 80s/90s/00s/10s Gavril 4.5 and 5.5 SOHC V8s are just fine with the existing V8 sound (and I want them to keep this sound) but it's not exactly correct for the rest of the V8s sounding the same, even if the older ones have a lower idle. The larger ones should sound even brawnier and even more muscular.
Plus the transverse Bruckell/Soliad 4.4 V8 could make for a great "Cadillac Aluminum Alloy" impersonation.
And the current Bolide V8 sound is just amazing, even if the first replacement V8 sound, introduced in May 2019, could also be used for a Civetta V8.
Ditto the modern ETK gasoline I4, which just can't sound like an 80s Ibishu I4. Plus, even if an 80s ETK I4 comes out, it should sound more metallic than the I4 sound of an old Ibishu, which, with no exhaust, sounds like someone rattling a bunch of coffee plates in a paper bag (that was bad and I'm sorry ;)).
What I want to say is that the sounds themselves are great (all of them, even the old I4 sound and even without any exhaust on) but ok, not all cars sharing the same engine layout must sound the same. A good example of this being already applied is the old versus the new F4s in the Piccolina and the SBR4 respectfully. The Piccolina sounds like an air-cooled F4 should while the SBR4 has two different sounds for differentiating the 2.0 and the 2.5 F4s from each other and both of them sound refined on Comfort mode and awesome on all other modes.
The second example of this is the new I4 sound for the Cherrier FCVs vs the old one of the rest of the vehicles.
Something like this needs to be done in general.
    The tool seems great.

Havoc is not an engine it's a rigid body collision physics Software addon. Beamng already has it's own physics. I for one would love to see beamng in a modern engine like ue5

i was thinking again about what/where the next map could be
An Australia map would make sense since the covet is getting a RHD version
An Utah Offroad park would also be possible bc we already have the hirochi raceway and we dont have any kind of speciffic Offroad park besides the little bit on the raceway map ( both ideas are from other forum members)
so my idea is that it could be possible that its Spain, Portugal or maybe even Mexico
i know it could be anywhere where its sunny and dry but that would be my picks
also do we have new info about the map besides sunny and dry ?

Nope, the only reason we know it's gonna be "sunny and dry", is because tdev replied to a user who asked if there was gonna be rain, which is why i think tdev wasn't teasing a desert location, but rather was just saying no to the rain question

The Utah Offroad Park would make a boatload of sense since the map mostly consists of soil, gravel, potholes and rocks/planted rocks for testing the suspension, altitude differences for testing the engine power and a river for testing the submersibility and watertightness of the off-roaders. Great idea.

The Covet is in priority now (being almost ready, that is), so I believe the next teaser will be about this car.
The ETKs must certainly be getting prepared in the background too, but ok, we'll wait and see what's what.

I‘ve never thought about it like that but now that I do, it sounds very likely to me that he just meant that there won’t be rain
