For some reason, when/after you overheat an engine, you expect to hear the radiator fans audio effect but it is missing. This has been the case since the 0.25 dropped. Plus, the Scintilla GTs and GTx variants should have the Sport ECU (9000rpm limiter vs the 8600rpm one of the Stock ECU) because their description boxes say they have a higher revving engine than the standard GT variant.
I just played the ”Delivery Destruction" (Cannon mission) and it is tons of fun. I just noticed that there are many bugs concerning the slow motion. Sometimes you can’t exit the slow mo animation, sometimes after the slow motion you can’t see where you’re aiming with your canon and after that the truck doesn’t get chased by the camera at the end. Hope this will get fixed soon Edit: sometimes the cannons don’t stop lifting
It seems that both standard and race oil pan simulate a wet sump system with the race version just having a higher g tolerance of 1.5G. Which at times can still be to little and also will cause oil starvation once past a certain treshold. Maybe there will be further updates to the oil system in the future and the addon of dry sump systems. After all, the maximum safe value for oil amount indicates that something is at least planned in this regard. Bolide and Scintilla are super sport cars and certainly should not have oil issues below very very extreme g-forces. It is more acceptable for the Vivace S because it is "just" a sporty car and as such is not designed for excessive sustained g-forces like in serious racing. Most to be expected drivers in real life will probably never even go near that particular limit. This is basically the purpose of the aftermarket race oil pan.
It's natural for the classic Italian supercars to experience oil starvation when G-forces are applied. Cars like the Lamborghini Miura and Countach were notorious for this, especially during braking. I believe it was Doug DeMuro (in his recent Lamborghini Miura review) who told the story of a test pilot experiencing car fire in a Miura after braking and discovering that the engine got starved of oil. So it's 100% expected for the Bolide to experience this. It's less expected when it happens in modern cars like the Cherrier FCVs (let alone in their performance versions when they have the Race Oil Pan installed) though, but it can still happen.
are you playing on the latest patch 0.25.4?are you playing on the latest fix 0.25.4? it's just that my utah doesn't start, when it starts, the game gives an error 0xc0000001b, but the other cards are fine, I noticed this after fixing 0.25.3 and today 0.25.4 came out, but it didn't fix the problem, before fixing 0.25.3 utah worked --- Post updated --- it's just that utah doesn't work with version 0.25.3, everything was fine earlier, and now when it starts, it crashes with the error 0xc0000001b, this happened last year in some fix 0.23, west coast and derby arenas crashed, with errors 0xc0000409 and 0xc00001b, many had it --- Post updated --- here I attached screenshots on the icons everything loads mountains, objects, rivers, but when the game starts loading roads, it crashes, more precisely, it freezes at 100% at the point of the house, or if you choose another point of appearance at 0% when loading roads and crashes (only with utah this)
Setting the time of day to afternoon with Shift+Ctrl+D should probably turn on regular headlights instead of high beams.
There is a mod with a different engine for the wentward bus, and it doesn't work with the newest update. The bus freezes when I use this mod and I have no control of it, and the sound doesn't work. Is there any way I could fix this myself to make it work with the new update? I contacted the owner of the mod and he didn't respond. https://www.beamng.com/resources/wentward-more-engines-mod.8470/ This is the mod by the way.
Not necessarily sure those two are connected. After all, I've killed a wet-sump engine by putting too much oil in it. Could be related to career-mode vehicle maintenance as well.
couldn 't my files get damaged because of a simple fix ? --- Post updated --- couldn 't my files get damaged because of a simple fix ?
Oil before the oil leak game update is very close to a "dry sump" system. If you still have older version of the game or play some very old mods, you'll notice that they are only in oil starvation when the vehicle is tilted past 90 degrees. Another problem is that the vibration between the engine, engine mount and the transmission can make the x/y g-force calculation go haywire, and oil starvation may occur when the g-forces is well below 1G. If you make an 8-speed gearbox and install it to an off-road vehicle with low range gearbox, you can get oil starvation message pop up when in 1st gear low range even when driving at a constant speed on flat ground.
But for cars like this ,they usually comes with less friction stock tires, their oil system may be in trouble when pushing them to limit with racing tires, but this shouldn't happen when u just racing with stock tires/or just some sport tires. Their maybe some minor but long term impact, but losing a few HP power ever a few laps is too much. In my country some car medias do family cars reviews by driving them on the track(until the brake is on fire),drifting around, driving in suspension test rally track, and doing off road test in sand if it's an SUV. Then finally disassemble the whole car to see if there is damage inside the engine and test the material strength of the car body. It's a little pointless but after disassembly there is usually no damage in the engine by just track driving for most cars, however off road in sand will significant damage the engine cylinder. There were a few cars did get engine damaged just by track driving, usually some cars you will never linked to sporty and rarely be seen on the road
The world editor is pretty laggy even with just 12 cars, while back in 0.24 I remember loading 17 cars and it worked very smoothly.
Your antivirus or windows defender is probably the culprit, try disabling real time protection and check if that helps.
Work.json file missing by default, not a big deal since you can make one yourself, but it was more convenient when it was there in every update before
