Re: General discussion chat Sure, if you go to Samsung or whatever is the manufacturer of your phone it will be expensive. However, it is much simpler to repair most Android models (samsung, motorola, lg etc) than an iPhone, specially the older ones. Or maybe it's just that most users with some technical knowledge go with Android. Anyway, my main reason for not liking ios is that everything is locked. And you can't root it. Plus it's overpriced as shit, for the launch price of the iphone 6+ you can get a great phone and a great PC. no flame war pls
Re: General discussion chat GTA V is to be launched on next gen consoles in november, and 2 months later (January 27) on PC. Go figure, Rockstar wants to milk as much cash as they can from consoles before they release the game on PC. I wouldn't be surprised if they were paid off by sony or microsoft to pull this shit. Honestly, no way it takes 2 entire months, after more than a year of waiting, to polish the PC version, rockstar are just money whores now. I'm gonna get yelled at on the forums for this, but I'm pirating GTA V on day one for PC. I'll probably buy it when it gets cheap after a year or so -.-

Re: General discussion chat Apples reliability is generally good but the buttons break very easily, a lot of friends have defective power and home buttons that no longer work. Other than that they are pretty solid. I am still using my Galaxy S2, i am really pleased with it. Performance is still good enough and it has a really good active development scene (custom roms etc). I am interested to here why you don't ever want to go back to android and what device you had to cause that. Cause in my opinion Android is pretty damn awesome.

I played it on PS3 because I still have my PS3 I bought some years ago (Couldn't afford a pc, my friends all had them so fuck it), yet I want to get GTA V for PC just for Online and playing with friends (because people are douchebags in GTA online). I still think GTA IV is much better for singleplayer. They fucked up the driving really bad in V. Cheap low-end Android phones are the worst thing ever. Imagine trying to run Windows 8 on a Pentium 3. Yeah, it's like that. I'm quite interested in Windows Phone now though, for all the stuff I mentioned earlier.
Re: General discussion chat Gimme phoen pls. I have a Photon Q. I got it refurbished for $65. It is a bit outdated and it is pretty thick compared to other phones (Physical keyboard) but I like it. I broke the digitizer earlier this week though. (Slammed it on my desk and now the connector is shorted out or something since it doesn't respond to touch and the corner gets really hot when plugged in.) I ordered a new one and hopefully I can replace it. I also have an iPhone 3GS. My cousin gave it to me since he found it and it wouldn't boot. I tried to take it apart since the battery was completely flat. I broke the entire thing. - - - Updated - - - Agreed. I'll just either pirate or not buy it until it gets down to ~$20 or less.

Re: General discussion chat So I'm building a second PC out of spare parts I found. So far I have: Intel Core 2 Quad Q6600 Asus P5KPL-AM SE (µATX) XFX Geforce GT 9500 (might or might not work) 80GB HDD generic crappy 400W PSU and an old HP 15" CRT monitor, I think it's 1280x1024. All I need now is some DDR2 RAM and I can build it. Hopefully I can find a better hard drive as well, 80GB is very small. I don't know what I'll do with this PC, probably just use it for random stuff. Or sell it, but it's hardly worth anything. I also have an AMD Sempron 2800+ around somewhere, with no MB as the one I had was literally blown up. edit- Oh look I have over 600 posts. I never even notice.

Re: General discussion chat Yeah, but that is like saying that window 7 is awful because it wont run on my calculator. You cant state that every device running Android is awful because you bought a really cheap one. Its just as bad as people who claim that BeamNG is awful because they cant run it on there intel atom with integrated graphics. Of course this may not be the reason why he doesn't like Android and also not ranting at you since you were just giving an example, just felt that this was a necessary rant.
