Hi It's me again. rn im working on a car based on Renault 19/Opel kadett/Nissan Sunny Coupe called Cherrier Chemade. for now i have ute, coupe, E86 (similar to AE86) Sedan, 3D, 5D, wagon and all above in rhd pretty much ready (Jbeam 90% Modeling 85/90% configs 20%)
Looks unusual but I like it. However, I also see that the model is somewhat lowpoly & "cheap" looking right now, so I would try to improve that over time
thanks i made the model by myself and if you can, please point out things that i can improve in the model
i think the big thing that stands out with the model is the huge differences in shading between the body panels. To fix this try to match the wire frame of all the panels to look almost seamless. This will minimise the shading changes between the panels. To further remove the shading incoherence between the panels try to make transitions between them as smooth as possible, this means you should avoid having any angle difference between the faces of two body panels that are touching. Basically try to model all body panels as if they were one big part and then separate them later. This will make your model look much more consistent if done well. Also could you maybe show a wireframe picture? It’d help give more feedback.
From my limited experience i think your grid should look more even, each face should be pretty much the same size as the one next to it (apart from when it's not a smooth surface of course), also the hood should match the fenders, add some loop cuts and position them to match the fender. The wheel arches are not very well made, look how vanilla models does it to improve it. Overall it could be a bit higher poly, except that one headlight corner that is way higher poly than the rest and shouldn't be.
no offence but looks like a automation model currently, but hope it improves in the future best of luck!
