ATTENTION The download of this mod has been removed due to this pack which adds an actual body of the 2013-2016 bodies, with templates for them. This mod basically makes this template pack useless, unless you want to have a horrible looking Dodge or Pontiac. This mod will be re-made on those bodies as they are more probably next year. But please, either way delete the file of this mod if you have downloaded it. This creation is just horrible. I think it's about time to make a thread for this mod. This is a pack of skins for SolarPower's Gen 6 NASCAR Camaro ZL1 stock-car, and it's focus is to give more manufacturers to it. I know that some other people are already making other manufacturer skins to it, but I wanted to try my own and make some other ones that nobody has tried yet. Also yes, the cars will look cursed as hell, that's what you get when you try to insert a triangle into a circle in a children's toy. I'm talking to you, Roblox NASCAR players that put (eg.) Chevy schemes on Ford meshes. There will be edited UVs made to suit each car, and the skins will be colorable in the future and there will be at least one racing scheme for every car. The current list of cars: Chevrolet Camaro ZL1 1LE (2022) Chevrolet SS (2015, 2021) Dodge Challenger (2022, 2021) Dodge Charger (2022, 2021, 2015) Toyota Camry (2015, 2022) A 2020/21 one has not been made due to one that is far better and already exists. Hey at least it’s not like the Asseto Corsa Nascar stock car mod, where all lf the cars are fords, and every car that isn’t a ford are converted to a ford in full (so cars like the Hendrick Chevys are all now Hendrick Fords, which even more cursed)
It comes out when there are enough skins made and completed. I'm currently working on the 2015 Camry and 2015 Charger.
Completed the 2015 Camry and Charger, also made a 2020/2021 version of the Charger scheme, just in-case if any body would want it without the 2022 next-gen decals.
Why don't you just make the bodies? Making the 3D models wouldn't take as long as making the chassis and stuff!! I know from experience with screwing around on Blender!!
This is supposed to be a skin pack. Besides, you'd have to model like around 10 different bodies if you'd want to make this entire pack completed but as models, and I don't know how to model.
I wonder if I can take the existing body and play with the vertices to match the templates. That could be a temporary solution. --- Post updated --- I tried that for a couple minutes and it would be more work to convert the model than to start from scratch!!
Some more progress update. Added 2022 version of the Camaro ZL1 1LE and Challenger, minor adjustments to the Challenger decals and added the 2013 Ford Fusion. I will most likely make the 2021 Mustang, then the 22 versions of the Camry and Mustang and most probably release it. Plans after the release are colorable skins and both fictional & real schemes. oopsie I forgor to take close pic of the challengers
