That just isn't true. These mod developers just aren't as active as some modders because they have more important things to deal with in their lives than dealing with ungrateful little brats online that aren't happy when a mod they like doesn't release when they like. I have recently had contact with one of the partner developers of this and as far as I know, it's still in active development. Ignore this message if you actually intended yours as a joke. Your message however seems highly difficult to decipher correctly what its intention is, even for those who are well versed in the English language.
Imagine spending all this time typing this out, being condescending as hell for no reason and still being the embodiment of unhelpful
Hello and welcome to the forums! I'm sorry that no one has helped you sincerely yet, so I'll do my best. WIP stands for Work In Progress. If your native language is not English, this may not make sense, but it just means it's not finished yet, and therefore not released. When it changes to WIP Beta Released or Released, with a green box instead of an orange box, then there will be a download available somewhere, usually on the bottom of the first post of the first page of the thread. I hope this helps!
Just curious does this mod have a possible finish date not trying to rush I've just been watching it for as long as I've been a pat of BeamNG and I haven't seen any progress (I'm most likely just being blind but whatever)
As of recent, progress has been slow as the creators have had real life obligations other than the Brutus. They have made a commitment to finish the mod eventually, however it is yet to be completed. As, as a general rule of thumb, you shouldn’t ask for release dates as most creators will not set one, as having a release date set, especially early on, will provide extra stress for the mod creator and, if they can not finish it in time for the set date, certain members that are more disrespectful than others and many that are underage, joining against the rules, have been known to harass mod creators over similar topics, further reducing motivation and increasing stress. Welcome to the forums, and keep this in mind. Also, remember not to bump on old/dead threads.
Hi, this is my first message in 2 years, and the first time I've logged back in since then. Still very excited for this and keep up the fantastic work!
Yes and it's respected. Making BeamNG Drive mods takes time and effort and almost noone is ever paid to do it. However based on statistics of all mods that appeared here since the forum opened, there is about 95% likelihood for a mod to never get released if its development span is over a year. The topic will get bumped once per year but the author would have long lost files/interest/will etc
