True that, i would never own an rx7 cuz it would make me homeless. But i like doritos, and brap brap brap
While all roughly true one way or another... its basically the same as putting a jet engine in a car. Why would someone do it? Is it practical? No. Is it more powerful or faster? Half the time no. Is it fuel efficient? I would call them... fuel... effective... yeah... lets go with that. But are they cool? Hell yeah. Would I swap them into anything just because? Hell yeah. Hope that helps
Because we have a passion. Spending thousands of euros on a shitbox it's crazy for the most if not all non-car people but, for us, it's more than a simple shitbox...
u do know they brap only when you bridge port them. normally its more like this for 12a and 10a engines
i dont have an engine model and it would require too much time to make one, and even if i had the time i would have preferred a 26b
I'm sure there's stuff you like that we could all sit here and roast you about, at the end of the day just let people enjoy what they like and mind yourself and enjoy what you enjoy. Rotary engines are just like any other engine out there, maintenance is key along with money. If you have the cash to own a rotary to replace and work on them then awesome, but that's up to those who like rotary engines to decide, just like with any other engine out there. And older big block engines also get crap mileage and to add to that have a lot more parts to replace if something catastrophic happens to the engine.
So the current state of the mod is Finished. But i have issues to zip the mod and upload it. When zipped the engine texture become orange (missing) and there is no engine sound. It's driving me crazy. Anybody has suggestions on how to fix this?
Wich way are you packing it? From in game or with a program? make sure all texture paths are right and there is actually a texture matching in the said path and stuff inside the needed materials.cs/main.materials.json and wahtever is like it should. I myself use 7Zip to pack mods, inside ''mods\unpacked'' you have your mod propably, and inside that folder there are the vehicles and other folders, so you would pack the folders inside ''yourmodname'' folder by selecting all the folders> Right Click> 7Zip> add to ''yourmodname.zip'' and then rename it to the mod name, inside beamng it should be just by pressing the pack button. It may read the name of the folder selected if its only one folder you are packing Edit: Also had once a problem with textures wich was because a wrong way slash (\) instead of (/)
