I'm not trying to steal the spotlight away from you, but for the past few months, I actually have been working on a PBR update for the Kashira. The only difference being that I got the a-okay from both Re:Z_IA and Car_Killer. The only reason why I replied now is because you said you needed more time to work on it, but I'll let you save that time and spend it on something else. Here's the proof via Discord, if anyone asks: As for an ETA, there still needs some more work done (such as fixing those darn texture and material issues that y'all have reported so far in 0.24 and 0.25), but all I can tell you is that it's not dead just yet
Nice. You could look into @a plane guy 's fix, and if he gives you permission, fix the broken textures and then put it here. Finally, it's happening. and thankfully a retard (me) isn't doing this
I kinda forgot to mention this in my last post, but thank you to everyone who have kept the Kashira spirit alive, despite the mod not receiving updates via the repository in almost 2 years. Some more issues are being addressed behind the scenes at this time, and hopefully they will be done soon enough for everyone to enjoy
Good luck with the job. Kashira is one of my favorite Mods, but I couldn't get version 2 to run. I currently use version 1. I expect it to be released in the repository through a single file, not several files with patches. I imagine that, for some, the previously released fixes might have solved the problems of this old MOD, but for me it was quite confusing. Can't wait for the definitive one running on version 0.25.
Yea, I used it all the time until BeamNG called it "outdated" and it got removed from the repository section of mods. I used the first gen because it's less prone to glitching or breaking the game. I'm super excited for the PBR one to come out!
Yes, I'm still working on it. I actually went ahead and revised the engine sounds recently since it sounded different compared to the Pessima, despite using similar engines. You can compare and contrast this with the current version and you'll know what I mean. This is just one of many other changes I have in mind, and it'll be worth the wait
