I think what they meant is that the car is much much quicker at known locations around a track than previous cars because it accelerates much faster. At that point you are very much limited by the grip of the tires which is "only" a few % higher than previous sport tires, hence longer braking zones needed.
I wonder how they're gonna go at remastering cars such as the sunburst and SBR4 ? Until now the remasters were done on cars that had pretty simple designs like the pessima, the covet, the D-series, where the inspiration was clear and it had pretty much the right shape to begin with. But in the case of the Hirochis, they are newer cars with more complex shapes that were developed early and doesn't look as good as newer made modern cars. I'm interested in seeing how they're gonna improve the looks while still keeping it looking like the same model.
I doubt it the MR Turbo will have both a V6 and turbos, i personally think it will have a turbo 4 cyl, and another config (maybe aftermarket) will have a V6... but it's the same devs that made an offroad supercar with a diesel V8, so who knows
It'd be nice if we get a feature where you can replace certain parts on the part selector but all other damage that you've done stays the same.
Was the interior of the 88 pessima retextured? It looks to be PBR now, though not necessarily higher resolution in certain areas such as the doors.
Only thing I have noticed that is new so far is a race hood which is the dark owl hood without the strakes.

Also, not sure if this means anything, but both of the V12 materials file for the K-Series and the 800-Series were updated recently.
There was a line in the change log mentioning that support for twincharging was added. Official Covet Superturbo anyone?
There was already a twincharge everything mod by RK, i assume it actually used some code trickery to simulate twincharging?
We support twincharging basically ever since the proper powertrain sim was introduced years ago. In the last updated I improved how the UI displays things (Before, the boost pressure was not displayed correctly) Nothing has changed about the physical implementation though.
I remember the boost gauge used to read the pressure from the supercharger, thus showing 0 bar after it disengaged, is that what you fixed?
