We're sorry it broke your configs, we forgot to include it in the change log, but Pessima did get some improvements to the pessima 2-liter engine. I've tried now and with some extra tweaking you can get the engine to survive 700 ish hp, thing is you have to keep the torque below 845NM (max torque rating that engine with ultra heavy duty engine block). To do that you can raise the rpm at which nitrous engages. If you really want to increase the engine performance and don't mind using mods to do that, you can very easily just raise the highlighted value to whatever you like. (highlighted variable is max torque for base engine, ultra heavy duty one multiplies it by 2.45) Location of the file by default Steam/steamapps/common/BeamNG.drive/content/vehicles/pessima.zip//vehicles/pessima/pessima_engine.jbeam for just quick local changes I'd suggest copying the whole file into appdata/local/BeamNG.drive/0.25/vehicles/pessima, since that way you're not changing any core game files. After you've done that, open the file with text editor of your choice, navigate to part called: "pessima_engine_dohc" and then locate line 344 "max TorqueRating" and just bump it up a bit.
We had time constrain that lead to this technical limitation. For next major version, i will try to find a way to have widget available on each column the empty spaces are going to be fixed in the next hotfix (not the first one after this post will be published, probably in 1 week or more) It looks good but that's a gimmick for commercial sports car. This screen is meant for pro racing car. It would have been nice especially for rally cars. This screen is also meant to be use for a lot of different vehicles. We decided to keep things simple and generic Driver would only need the info and no extra fancy stuff. The fancy widget you requested would be more fitting on non-racing after market dash. One day maybe.....
Is it just my bad luck or the feature that when you're driving in a police car in a freeroam AI mode and random cars starts fleeing from you doesn't exist anymore? I was driving for like 20 minutes and haven't found a single car that would flee from me. Also when I spawn police AI they don't seem to chase or stop any other vehicles except me, even tho devs said they added this in 0.25
I finished every AI Race today and I need to say that: I LOVE IT ! <3 I like: AI is on perfect competitive difficulty where u need to think how to drive to finish first. If u not crash into them u know that they are on your back all the race and mistake can decide about position on finish line which is perfect. Tracks are fun to drive. You should add more races like ETK vs Bastion on East Coast USA because it's fun to play when u think that two brands with similar performance are fighting with each other. You should make old Civetta Top Speed vs new Civetta Base Model (because old dont have ABS but is fast on straight and new have ABS and is slower on straight but have grip in corners), I'm sure you will came up with something I don't like: Race is always at same enviroment time. I think that should or be mixed where game decide what time race starts or on menu with "Proposed Car" add option to change time to player preferences. I just wish that Italy street race had checkpoint where you can drive on wrong side of road (I'm talking here about third or fourth checkpoint). Cutting track should be on street races (because illegal and everyone knows) but on track like West Coast USA u should get penatly or after 3 cuts you should get DSQ because now u can cut a lot of track even with checkpoints or gain advantage outside of track. There is only few AI Races, I WANT MORE !
Loving the update so far, the graphical improvements are stunning and the Scintilla is a true work of art. I do have an issue with some textures on it though, on the race configs, it seems that the pedal box, switches, shifter, and fire extinguisher have no texture. I realize this may be a mod conflicting. If someone has had the same issue and has found the afflicting mod, it would be much appreciated to know.
Is it only me or JRI looks rushed and very bad? It feels like HD Texturepack rather than something official. For example there are places where ground is very pointy and visible in plain sight. Main issue - ground texture is too dark and grey. Strangely when we move camera far away it will change to more green texture. Not to mention that near the roads there is nice, green texture that looks much better. There is also missing grass as you can see. Wooden bridges looks worse in comparison to the other textures. One of them also have bugged(?) textures for rail guards. As I mentioned before, there are a lot of places where it looks like HD Texturepack mod. Textures don't blend that well on models or ground, are placed without care and even there are visible squares of textures and misplaced details on models. Finally, there are few spots (like on volcano) where performance is horrible. FPS drops for no reason to single digits.
Can I ask, are you going to be making a Civetta Scintilla E model soon, I wouldnt mind seeing an electric version of that new car shortly

My main worry still is the size / lack of clarity, are there any ideas in the pipeline that would improve that, either through increasing font size for values and labels, or increasing the UI size within the Race Screen? As for the replacement of numerical values with bar graphs / gauges, my intent with that isn't exactly to beautify the display, but specifically to make it more readable at a glance. A large difference in length of a bar would be a lot easier to notice quickly, compared to changes in digits in a numerical value, at least in my opinion. Would you consider having values that have operating ranges, such as temperatures for oil and coolant, or oil pressure, turn red when they register values that are dangerous to the vehicle, that way it is instantly apparent when something has gone ary? What are your thoughts on the RPM Bar Gauge changing color based on RPM? I think it would be very beneficial to drivers. The new Race Hood is stuck matte.
when random traffic police chase generates, it would be nice to assign the suspect of such chase the role of a suspect (like in the chases related to the player) but only if the player is police, because such not-player-related chases respawn too much, after the hotfix we can even witness how they dissapear exactly in front of you. Also traffic seems to respawn sometimes when a chase after the player initiates. Hope my english is understandable Upd: forgor to say thanks, because the game feels way more optimized for me now
When revving the scintilla in neutral, it plays the gear whine sound even though the transmission is disconnected.
NEVER MIND SOLVED! Hi i was trying small cliff crawl and every time (i tried 3x) i reach this spot i get out of bounds and when i reset its keep saying out of bounds, check points are gone and time is stopt (i had a similar problem on the long crawl)
Why are you here ? I completed it and never had to go there. Once you join back on the road you should be able to go straight to the finish.
