Chances are they're using the CRD monster truck mod. There's no way they'd put any quality into a mod if it was made for those shorts
It's horrifying simply because this is a real company saying 'yeah no use BeamNG drive for our animated kids short' It's the equivalent of Ford shooting their next car ad in GTA MovieMaker, the signal of the end times Although props to whoever is working for Monster Jam and now gets paid to play around with BeamNG, must be an abolsutely amazing job until you realize they are most likely an incompetent 40yo intern who should never be placed with 50 yards of any computer
Can't wait for the episode where everyone dies because the guy playing the game doesn't know what a radiator is
Honestly im going to do a viewing party with 'Take a shot every time you see a spikey vehicle' so that i can say i have watched it while living in bliss knowing that i have forgotten everything that has happened in it
What's frustrating me, and probably everyone else is that they claim they're actually animated shorts, and they don't give any credit at all to BeamNG, or the creators of the monster truck mod. Imagine how many game sales could be secured for the game if this series is successful and they linked the Steam page for BeamNG as well as explaining what it is. As for the use of Beam Monsters, how would you feel if some massively successful series took your creation without permission and used it as a marketing thing for themselves, without giving you any credit whatsoever. I, personally, would be pissed!
They do give credit to Beam-Monsters but not BeamNG. I feel that is worse than crediting BeamNG only and not Beam-Monsters.
