GUYS STOP BUY THIS!!! Unfortunately I bought it. The mods are very bad quality and have a lot of bugs. Additionally, the creator himself is very unpleasant ... When I reported him a huge bug in his mod, he REMOVED my membership from patreon !!! Of course, no refund and blocked me completely !!!
well, now that you have the models, you can probably figure out where he's stolen them from, and report him on patreon. his conduct that you've mentioned there may even be enough to get him banned.

That's only a rule on the repository. Here you can post whatever you want as long as it's legal and you have permission. Of course there are other rules too but not that you have to make the model yourself. It's better to make it yourself though because it gives you a control over the polyflow.
This is why you don't buy stuff from shady people making meshslaps at $20/month on Patreon. Those people steal 3D models, pass them off as their own and then sell their crap on Patreon. This mod is the perfect example of an idiot-magnet. Probably uses a stolen jbeam from another boat mod as well.
It's so weird He has a whole ass website dedicated just to his beamng stuff (mainly links to mods and a patreon) You can check his profile which'll lead you to his website which'll lead you to his mods page on modland and theres a shitton of (potentially ripped) mods out there
I've come over him before, he likes to protect a lot of shady stuff on discord for some reason, but to be perfectly honest if we had turned the question around he probably would'nt respond. And 18 dollars for not even a whole car, ripped models and crappy JBeam? What is this, the dark web? The forums weren't made for scammers, if you can't deal with that, leave.
As a previous user of his patreon mods, his mods arent even worth downloading if they were free tbh. me and my freinds joke about it all the time.
People make their mods fancy and super appealing by their looks, but in reality, most of them lack the details and dedication to other aspects like jbeam and modeling. Actual dev-quality mods that I've come upon are all simple on the looks but have amazing details all-around, like LucasBE's Picnic and many others.
Just removed 18MB of useless geometry from mine before reading this lol, and well it's understandable considering the kind of physics this game has, completely irrelevant to the thread and I don't want to sound offensive by any mean but I'd love people to put some more attention in the beam part if it's only a porting then though --- Post updated --- I can tell you I made my personal car as a mod with like two dozen parts/components but I never released it or even posted a thread about because I didn't made the windshield cracking as the original vehicles (never figured out how to do it lol) and it isn't skinnable (never cared enough to go through the whole UV mapping needed)
JsZ really did pull a dumb move though, he was unbanned and could have redeemed himself, but no he had to be dumb. Also he claimed people created accounts pretending to be him is that true?
He claimed a lot of stuff, such as the fact that the devs can see our passwords, which was obviously a lie, so probably that was also false.
IDK, I wasn't very active at that time. All I know is that JsZ used a model that is CC-BY (Creative Commons - Attribution) but claimed that it was original creation
JsZ certainly engaged some questionable activity, but he wasn't charging exorbatant amounts of money for his work, and he was capable of actually properly making some content. this right here though? this lecherous clot ought to be banned from every platform which he's using to do this.
