Update Speculation thread

IRL usually if there is detected malfunction in the engine, like something wrong with turbos or if you put in reverse, maximum RPM can be set to lower values.

For example something similar is in Citroen Nemo. If you put into reverse it will cut off on 3000 RPMs instead of ~4500. Same happens when there is mayor malfunction detected.

I wonder if we get someday a true (painful) representation of the real modern ECU with technologies like even cylinder deactivation for better economy or "bad quality fuel detection" that will lower the power for... some reason that I forgot.

update is someone we all love.

 

I would not be surprised at all if they release the GM remaster with the Covet's, seeing as how they're both from 0.3. Any ideas what sorts of "other bodystyles" could be in store if the GM was set to get one? I doubt there'd be a coupe, there could maybe be a wagon (Like the '90s Roadmaster). Personally, I'm hoping for like a tarted-up Burnside version. Most likely though is probably that the GM will be like the Pessima last time, which is fine too.

 

Well, i guess the only way to find out is to brighten the image until its as bright as the sun

An update at the end of this month is a possibility. There's been quite a few teasers this month alone, together with the other stuff posted in the development media thread. We pretty much got more information about the update this during month than we got over the course of the four previous months. Though I personally think we won't see the update until mid to late June, we can always hope the devs surprise us

Ok so i recreated the photo using the following in order:
Current Covet
Grand Marshall
ETK I Series
Another Sunburst

i didnt bother to make it night since this makes it easier to compare the vehicle profiles, and can be used aswell to orientate it relative to the headlight positions
the closest match in my opinion is the Grand Marshall

 

i think its either the k-series, the grand marshal, or the old pessima,the fog lights look kinda like the pessima,

 

I didnt even think of the old pessima, that could easily be it too

 

for some reason those lights remind me of the Gavril Vertex.

 

I'm sorry, but could it be a Bastion?

The most I got from the image was the weird grungy filter applied over the top.

 

Can’t tell, too far away, kinda looks like a k series or bastion, sunburst doesn’t appear to be remastered

Agree'd. I already did a one-sided bet with Crashhard, and I followed through with it... So... $50CAD says we will get the update before June, and if not -early June. First to like the post as before lmao.
