Assuming I didn't overlook it in the sea of configs, how about a configuration based on Pena's Fittan in My Summer Car?
Only visually, and it would be almost stock anyway. Some people already complained that there are too many configs so I won't add stuff like this.
Fantastic mod, really enjoying it, but I've found two bugs in the description of the Chinese taxi version: First is the color wasn't limited to yellow and orange, it was also available in white and red. Second is the show "Hi! Fiat" wasn't a movie, it was a TV Series. Also fun fact, these 126Ps was very popular taxi in the city of WenZhou, but they were all scraped in 1996 for regulation issues. Bonus: This is a picture of a green Chinese 126P.
Hey so i found my first problem, all LHD dashboards except ST are invisible, i deleted the old maluch folder in vehicles, any ideas how to fix this?
I found some bugs: Hillclimb version has too long 1st gear, car stalls always when releasing clutch Headlights are removed very easily and there's a weird, empty space there once they are missing
Empty space is to prevent weird deformation of the headlight frames. They are supposed to fall off easily because they are pop-in, not bolted. Irl they are also held by a wire, in game it would have to be modelled or else it would look weird.
The weight distribution is not symmetrical and the suspension design is originally from 1957, it probably does it irl too
The mod is much improved to nobody's surprise of course, and i especially like the inclusion of lore for every model. I found a few things to clrify: the price in 1972 of a base model was 800.000 Lira, which was a whopping 200.000 Lira more than the contemporary fiat 500R, and the only advantage to show for it was synchromesh on 2nd, 3rd and 4th, slightly bigger brakes and more headroom in the back. The car it replaced wasn't the nuova 500, that went effectively out of production in 1959 (although the 500d and 500f would still have a nuova 500 badge) but the 500r, which as i said earlier had the same upgraded engine, brakes and interior features of the 126 and is very different in many minute details (like a proper heater or completely electric electrical system). the 500f and 500l (a more luxurious version of the 500f not the 2013 mpv) went entirely out of production in 1972. in the pictures there are 1972-1975 blue 500r (note the squared off losanghe logo and the 126 style wheels) 1965-1972 red fiat 500f (note the "wiskers" logo and hubcap fiat 600 "fanalona" style wheels) 1968-1972 white fiat 500l (note the bigger hubcaps from the fiat 850, the different fiat logo only used on upper end models like the 125 and 2100/2300, the tubular style bumpers, more chrome accents) As i said i really love the attention to detail and the inclusion of obscure or failiures like the economica or the steyr puch. on the topic of this last version there was also a very interesting engine option, which is built using 2 tipo110B "sogliola" engine from the 500 giardiniera making it effectively a 4 cylinder. it is very rare and was avaiable in the 500 and 126, under the name of 650tr. have a picture of it lastly i noticed the giannini gpa/gps (i love the inclusion of these) but noticed they are branded as fiats: as all giannini customizations (like the giannini uno turbo or the giannini 132 volumetrix) the brand is actually giannini and not fiat. here's a link for reference https://clubitalianofiat126.forumfree.it/?t=60969333 in conclusion as i already said this mod is very good
It was super hard for me to find any info for the Giannini versions, thanks for this link! I will revise them in version 2.0 with this info.
Had to make a rustbucket: Also improved the configs inspired by TIJ a bit, added grilles to the halogens, changed the interior to RHD, removed the mirrors and changed the lettering to fit the export model: And uhh, made some kind of race red config that handles like shit because I have no idea how to select engine and suspension parts
