Did you simply tuned the Kp, Ki and Kd values in the DH Sport Bike's SPD.lua and put it in your bike and monetized it? According to my find, EACH and EVERY Beam motorcycle in every downloadable source (BeamNG forum and third-party website) uses the very same lua, And you even admitted it before.
Simply? but have you read my first post describing all the UNIQUE features I have implemented in this bike?! Since you are so expert with beamng bikes, have you ever seen one using sliding nodes for the front suspension? I have invented it. And still on your expertise do you have a rough idea on how much it takes to implement such things with beamng and its poor documentation? For most of the things you have to do reverse engineering of vanilla vehicles to understand how they works, meaning lights, props, pressureWheels, license plate ... do you want to blame me because I didn't reinvented from scratch the pressureWheel ?! So you are expert of SPD, then you should know this algorithm is the largely used in all applications on two-wheels vehicles autonomous driving, in real life robotic/research solutions and SW simulations as well, and there is a lot of free documentation online on how to implement it in code. The KD, KP and KI parameters are the keys of it and the author of DH sport used them along with the idea of force the leaning by countersteering, that is free source as well => https://docs.rigsofrods.org/vehicle-creation/motorbikes/ But in SP and original Suzuki the developer made some errors in the formula, so I fixed them to make my YT videos, but SP and Suzuki bikes modified by me cannot be shared, indeed I haven't. That post of mine you cited is almost one year old, after some months of disappoint using public crappy bikes I decided to try to create one from scratch, and this is what i did here, including the adaptation of the SPD theory to the sliding nodes of my suspensions. The tone fo your comment is tipical of all the other haters here, that does not tolerate I am asking one beer for the huge work I did, but just want the "mod link" and very often do not even say thanks when they get one for free. Citing CrashHard: "Okay can we get past the paid mod argument, and please stop with the passive aggressive sniping and ankle biting. If you dont want to buy the mod, then don't, nobody forcing anyone to pay." I won't answer anymore to hate or suspects or this kind of destructive messages. T.
Technically you didn't because the ROR website you linked has the same concept But about the SPD algorithm you are right, it's a free source so anyone can use it
Ad views = money. So if you have 1 billion views but everyone on Earth has adblock than you get no money
The OP fixed a few bug in a free source and then decided "bikes modified by me cannot be shared" and then "If you want I can share a demo version that does not steers and drops in one meter, do you want it? Because the steering is the value added here". It's ok to sell your creation, but saying a feature that is available free source "added value"? FYI, since RoR has GNU GPL license, it's legal to commercialize content using part of the codes. However, it's also legal for buyers who share only the modified SPD.lua to the public after purchase.
ah you are right, it was using slide nodes as well. I totally forgot it, since I studied that article one year ago when I was trying to improve SP bike SPD then I forgot about it. So for the sliding nodes I reinvented it from scratch, also I see it is different because I am using 4 rails while there it is mentioning 3 rails. While it is still true that no other BeamNG bike (public at least) uses sliding nodes for front suspension. And to me this is the best solution for what concerns realism => https://www.facebook.com/video.php?v=2224331257714490
Hi Coghead, thanx for interest! Dirt bike is on a good shape... Have a look: https://www.facebook.com/groups/beamng.drive.community/permalink/5045291902244691/
Lol I know it is a trap.... soon I will create relate page on BeamNG --- Post updated --- in which aspects? for decals I haven't done none yet, it is a WIP indeed. Sound is poor yes, I have improved it a little after, but the sound engine is a black box like several other secrets in BeamNG, and make a new sound (two stroke is not a vanilla engine) is hard as you can't imagine. Overall phisics of suspension instead are quite good and more realistic than GTA5 for instance....

You have to take into consideration too that there's a lot of kids who play BeamNG.drive, and I can't think of many kids that can just go to their mom or dad to ask to buy mods.
Unless the child has consenting parents and a bank account, anything is possible. I quite believe TonyCartony is an excellent mod creator, hence I am quite sure that money will go into great use... Jokes aside, I am waiting for more to come. I would be interested in a snowmobile of some sort...
