me and my brother picked up this nugget of a car a few days ago. i have never seen a le car in person. it only had 40k miles before it was abandoned in a industrial parking lot
Just discovered that 1 year ago today i joined the forums, how time flies by so fast, Cant believe its been a year already
Picked up a Canon eos Rebel t2 film body at a thrift store today for 8 bucks; Looks rough tbh, though everything seems to be functioning properly. Unfortunately can't test the film wind/rewind system without a roll of film, which I currently don't have any atm :/ Also don't have a proper EF mount lens yet (Only have the EF-S 18-55mm kit lens for my Rebel T3,) though the 100-300mm lens I ordered a few days ago should change that.
Got fired from Amazon for some BS reasons, so I got a job where I'm treated better and paid more. Plus, I make money doing what I love! Here's a shot of the view from my "desk".
finally edited my photos from the dragon a few weeks back. met some cool mazdaspeed protege/protege5 folks while I was there.
Saw a few modern classics over the past few months or so. I get really excited whenever I see these since you rarely find cars that are 10+ years old where I live. Sigh...... literally the only time I've seen a 180sx irl --- Post updated --- That's very nice! I usually use a second hand Ibanez RG8520, which we bought for about half the original MSRP, so definitely not complaining about that. Unfortunately the high e string broke about a month ago, and due to covid lockdown the 2 new packs I bought are probably never going to arrive. On the plus side, I took out the bridge and gave it a good clean.
lol yes And thank you!! It's such a fun and capable car, while still being a great daily. Suzuki nailed it
Because politics. I've already found out that between the mod staff and some of the users here, some of my car-related opinions (and opinions in general) are way outside the range of acceptable thought. Tonight or tomorrow I'll be advancing the idea that making cars too comfortable is getting people killed; that's one of my mildest takes.
i mean, fair enough i think cars should be just engaging enough to where you cant really be caught unattentive. it makes sense that way really, should be common sense things like the new M2 with 2 wholeass computer monitors for screens is just odd and not attractive to me, let alone how distracting it might be so yeah i see where you are coming from
