This is a ford gran torino that i made when i searched for random blueprints, i don't know what year model is this.



My first detailed interior, i was in a hurry in rendering the interior.


Couldn't find the chassis and the engine of the car for reference, if you find one, please show them to me.

The Gran Torino has an automatic transmission, why are there 3 pedals?

 

I don't like automatic transmission, so i made a manual style.

 

Ah, okay. But why is there a collumn shifter? Or is that an indicator or something?

 

Because the picture i used for reference had a collumn shifter.

 

A lot of american automatics had a column shifter

 

Torino's came with 3 and 4 speed manual..

 

That's just where Ford decided to put the shifter. My mom learned to drive on a car like that, she says the transmission in it was called a '3 on the tree'

 

One type of manual transmission that ford made was called a three on the tree, where it had a column shifter lile an auto, but its really a manual (no idea if any other manufacturers did it)

What is the best way to add thickness to things in blender? my truck is pretty much flat now and i don't know a way to add depth cleanly.
