There’s no ‘chances’ either way of the matter. Leave the decision to me, please. My brother’s CCF was decided by him and him only, so I feel my Centauri should be the same way.
Why are people so annoying. " will it be paid? " " don't make it paid " and yada yada yada. As Finn said, it's his mod, he can decide what to do with it. If you don't agree with it, you don't have to, just don't flood the thread with these stupid questions.
Right then, this thread’s been very empty of Centauri content recently… well if recently means like 3 months back. Anyway, here’s an update that, like last time, will probably span multiple parts! First off, the glass needed some love. It had been temporary unwrapped to the Gavril Roamer for about 3 months by then and it didn’t fit the car at all anymore (not that it ever did). So I decided it was time to texture it… …so I started by unwrapping it all with a rainbow texture grid… …then I exported the UV islands, and added borders and details where necessary, with a greenish background. …then after an opacity, normal, reflectivity and some edits to the colour map, that’s them done! …and the intglass. Next up, some custom wheels for the luxury variant. These will be based on the LX600’s Luxury wheels; I started with the barrel, then extruded in some spokes… …then I added some thickness… …then some centre cap stuff… …then the back… …then lug nuts, and that’s the model done. I would show this in game but it took me a while to texture these, as you’ll see later on. Next, back to the glass. Here’s some non-orange broken glass; Once I’d finished all of the glass stuff, I was on some form of texturing streak, so I felt the car was due main body textures. This will include all body panels, the underbody, engine bay, the cool details behind parts and so on and so forth. But first, I needed some stuff tidied up, which included the paper-thin doors. So I gave them some realistic thickness; …then I started unwrapping the body and other parts for texturing. This took me quite a while but I’ll try to condense it. so I started with the side, …then the front… View attachment 907085 …then the underside… …then the rest of the front… …then the lower rear quarter and boot surrounds… …and that’s the body done. After that, the panels, including the later-to-be separately textured bumpers; View attachment 907093 View attachment 907094 …and onto texturing it all using Substance Painter. I started with the body alone here and later merged all the panels in with it. @Theo Wilkinson helped me a ton here. (many, many pictures) body done, next, the panels. (even more loads of pictures for the panelwork) now everything’s textured except panel edge bevels, so it should be able to go in-game now. But not quite, as the bumpers also need them. I won’t go through the process of those since it’s much the same but here’s how they look finished in Substance; …and the main textures are done! That’s the end of part 1, but I’ll be uploading part 2 later. Thanks for reading thus far! Part 2 on post #654
damn dude you've been working on this for 16,156,800 seconds --- Post updated --- jk :trol: --- Post updated --- but seriously, 6 months, looks great
not sure if this has already been asked, but have you considered a massive hideous snorkel for the base model, like the OEM J200 GX one?
About part 2, a lot of stuff got in the way. I’ll probably get something out after the end of this week.
